The core principle of MVR involves compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process adeptly converts electrical energy into thermal energy, thereby elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The heated secondary steam then returns to the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and facilitating evaporation. This sophisticated cycle enables the continuous recycling of the latent heat of vaporization from secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering excellence. It encompasses several key components, including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and anti-surge control system. Featuring a compact design, it ensures ease of maintenance and operational efficiency, making it a perfect choice for seamless industrial applications.
3.3.1 Carefully position the compressor base integrally on the designated foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely adjust the unit to perfect levelness.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, achieving meticulous leveling of the unit. Secure these irons with spot welds at 4-5 strategic points.
The wedge should be custom-manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are perfectly finished, enabling even contact of the inclined plane.

3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit’s perfect alignment. Maintain an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for optimal performance.

3.3.3 Achieve flawless coupling alignment. Prior to starting, confirm these essential requirements:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off for safety assurance.
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield to prevent damage.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision.
4) Inspect the motor installation plane to ensure the surface is pristine, free from any dirt, debris, or attachments.
5) The motor bolt hole must be slightly larger than the bolt size for effortless adjustment and loosening.
6) Equip with sufficient stainless steel gaskets, ensuring they are clean and flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between motor and base.
7) Use a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with precision of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer).
8) Prepare the specified bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to securely position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer perimeter.
10) By meticulously adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the maximum deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, conducting a thorough review of the coupling's outer circle and end face runout.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, install the coupling intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are perfected, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Upon completion of mechanical operations or trial runs, retighten the bolts for assured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, must remain free of solid or liquid intrusions to prevent irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure that all connecting pipelines are impeccably clean and meet the system's steam corrosion standards.It is highly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to equip import and export pipelines with necessary accessories. Ensure these pipelines are supported independently, without imposing weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidification, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal performance and reliability, setting the stage for seamless operations.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and safety, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The intricate wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet must be securely connected using threading pipes that are thoughtfully placed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, seamlessly integrate its wiring terminals with the lines at the remote DCS to ensure a flawless connection.
