Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base must be placed integrally on the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precise leveling adjustment. These trusty shims will ensure stability and accuracy in positioning.
Alternate placement of two wedge-shaped irons is essential. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure by spot welding the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. This will provide dependable support.
The wedge must be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific circumstances at hand. Ensure a seamless contact surface for the inclined plane, which is vital for stability under pressure.
Make sure the bearing capacity of each wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm² to maintain structural integrity and performance.

3.3.2 Utilize a level to achieve precise alignment. The stringent leveling criteria are as follows: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring optimal functionality.
Both the axial and horizontal levels provide the perfect conditions for seamless operation and long-term durability.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Before embarking on the alignment process, ensure the following prerequisites are met for a smooth setup:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely switched off for safe handling.
2) Gently remove the coupling shield to access the mechanical components.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to facilitate alignment and adjustments.
4) Inspect motor installation surfaces thoroughly to confirm they are free from debris, dirt, or any unwanted attachments.
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size slightly to permit loosening and precise motor adjustments.
6) Stock up on stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage. These should be pristine and flat, avoiding long and thin types to ensure solid adjustment.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision, ensuring these are prepared by the customer.
8) Set up a bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying illustration.

9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure the dial indicator on the hub's edge and position the probe on the compressor hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts meticulously so the compressor and motor center lines align precisely. The outer circle deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center for optimal alignment.

11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts, and reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts for precise alignment verification.;
12) After a successful motor idling test, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section to complete the alignment process.
3.3.4 Post alignment of casing 'levelness' and coupling, tighten the anchor bolts securely. After trial operations, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure continued stability and performance.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, must remain free of any solid or liquid elements that could inflict irreversible damage. Ensure all connected pipelines are immaculate and meet the strict steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be brought up to the required specifications.
Consider installing solid-liquid separation systems, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to ensure pristine conditions.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with utmost precision. Adhere to the PI diagram for pipeline accessories installation. Crucially, these pipelines must be supported independently to prevent undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supporting equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has fully set and hardened, it's time to proceed with the thrilling compressor operation test.
3.3.8 The compressor's electric control cabinet must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The sophisticated wiring connecting the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be expertly routed through a threading pipe placed underground. After the electric control cabinet has been perfectly situated, ensure seamless integration by connecting the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a robust and reliable connection.
