3.3.1 Strategically place the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Underneath, position wedge-shaped shims to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
These shims must be arranged alternately for optimal alignment. Once perfectly leveled, spot weld the wedges at 4 or 5 strategic points.
The user is responsible for manufacturing these wedges to suit the specific situation, ensuring that contact surfaces are evenly finished for consistent contact.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a high-precision level to achieve the desired alignment. Unit leveling must meet stringent criteria: axial level of 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 For the coupling, ensure precise centering. Prior to alignment, adhere to the following essential steps:
1) Securely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane's flatness meticulously, ensuring it is free from debris or dirt;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are slightly larger than the bolts for easy adjustments;
6) Ample, flat stainless steel gaskets should be prepared to stabilize the motor. Avoid using unsuitable gaskets that might cause instability.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter (accuracy of 0.01mm), provided by the customer;
8) Have a sturdy bracket ready to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for precise dial indicator placement, focusing on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center line. Ensure that deviation is minimal: 0.05mm for the outer circle and 0.03~0.05mm for the coupling end face.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and verify the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for precision.;
12) After performing an idle test on the motor, reinstall the coupling intermediate section for optimal performance.
3.3.4 With the alignment and casing 'levelness' perfected, proceed to fasten the anchor bolts. Post-operation, loosen and retighten these bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed rotating element, is sensitive to foreign solid or liquid matter, which can cause irreversible damage. Thus, ensure the cleanliness of all inlet and outlet pipelines, adhering to the system's steam corrosion standards. Prompt rectification is needed for any non-compliant pipelines. For enhanced protection, consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 When installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, ensure compliance with the PI diagram. Additional brackets should support any connected pipelines to prevent undue weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has been allowed to fully set and harden, you are ready to conduct the compressor operation test. This ensures a seamless integration and optimal performance of your system.
3.3.8 Position the compressor's state-of-the-art electric control cabinet within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensure all electrical connections are meticulously threaded through pipes running underground, achieving a neat and secure setup. After successfully situating the electric control cabinet, proceed to expertly link the wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS, enabling efficient and reliable communication.
