3.3.1 Position the compressor base seamlessly onto its foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Strategically place alternating wedge-shaped irons, ensuring optimal alignment. After successful leveling, secure the irons by spot welding at 4 to 5 points, thus guaranteeing stability.
It is the user's responsibility to custom-manufacture and install these wedges according to specific situational requirements. Ensure that the contact surfaces are perfectly finished for even engagement of inclined planes.
Note: The wedge iron's load-bearing capacity should not exceed a threshold of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize an advanced level gauge to meticulously establish horizontal alignment. The unit's precision requirements demand an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Precise coupling alignment is essential. Before initiating alignment procedures, adhere to the following stringent prerequisites:
1) Ensure complete shutdown of the main power supply for safety assurance;
2) Carefully detach the coupling shield with finesse;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling’s intermediate section strategically;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor's installation surface to ensure it is devoid of debris, grime, or extraneous attachments;
5) Ensure compatibility by confirming that the motor's bolt holes are slightly larger than the bolts themselves to allow for nuanced motor adjustments;
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets, ensuring they are pristine and flat. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or a cutting-edge laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be procured by the customer);
8) Secure the supporting bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying schematic;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix the dial indicator on the wheel hub's periphery, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through careful adjustments of the bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to an optimal same line (or as specified in the manual). Ensure the outer circle’s deviation does not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and achieve coupling end face precision of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Secure the motor foot bolts meticulously, then recheck the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout for accuracy.;
12) Reassemble the coupling's intermediate section after conducting a thorough motor idling test to ensure seamless operation.
3.3.4 Following the precise adjustment of both "levelness" and alignment, systematically tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to confirm stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-velocity rotating component, demands the utmost protection. Entry of any solid or liquid can lead to irreversible compressor damage. Thus, ensure that the pipelines connecting to the compressor are impeccably clean, adhering to the system's specified steam corrosion grade. Any non-compliant pipelines must undergo immediate rectification. Consider implementing solid-liquid separation solutions, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for the installation of all relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure that pipelines connected to the compressor receive independent support from an alternate bracket, without burdening the compressor body with their weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supportive equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has achieved complete solidification, it's time to proceed with the exhilarating compressor operation test. 3.3.8 To ensure seamless operation and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For optimal durability and performance, the wiring should be meticulously connected via threading pipe, securely placed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is properly installed, it is imperative to connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring precise control and monitoring for unparalleled efficiency and effectiveness in your pharmaceutical wastewater treatment operations.
