3.3.1 Begin by carefully placing the compressor base integrally on the prepared foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims under the base. These are essential for achieving impeccable leveling of the unit.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons meticulously. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, skillfully spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4~5 strategic points. It's crucial that these wedges are
crafted and installed by you, the user, to suit the actual conditions. Ensure their contact surfaces are finished to guarantee even contact on the inclined
planes. Note that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a high-precision level to ascertain the unit's level. The exacting leveling standards demand that the axial level of the unit be 0.05/1000mm, while
the horizontal level should adhere to 0.10/1000mm accuracy for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Achieve coupling alignment perfection. Before initiating the alignment process, ensure the following essential prerequisites are met:
1) Power down the main supply entirely;
2) Gently remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from foreign particles, dirt, and excess attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for necessary adjustments to motor positioning;
6) Have sufficient, pristine stainless steel gaskets ready to fully support the motor foot. These gaskets must be flat and devoid of attachments. Avoid using thin, elongated gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Employ a precision tool such as a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, with an accuracy of 0.01mm, preferably prepared by you, the discerning customer;
8) Ready the depicted bracket to support the dial indicator seamlessly;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to strategically place a dial indicator on the edge of the wheel hub, while positioning its probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Meticulously adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines to near perfection (or as directed by accompanying instructions), ensuring a maximum deviation of 0.05mm in the outer circle (the motor shaft center line should rise above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and maintain coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Finally, securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then rigorously review the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for utmost precision;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test, ensuring smooth operation.
3.3.4 Following the meticulous adjustment of the casing's "levelness" and the alignment, steadfastly tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical test run or trial operation, temporarily loosen the bolts, and then confidently retighten them for enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller represents a high-speed, precision component. Any intrusion of solids or liquids can lead to irreversible compressor damage. Thus, ensure that the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and compliant with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines demand rectification. It is highlyrecommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation devices (e.g., gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) ahead of the straight pipe leading to the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines should be equipped with appropriate pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be adequately supported by an independent bracket, ensuring that the compressor body itself does not bear its weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supportive equipment are perfectly installed and the concrete foundation reaches its full strength, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet within a close 5m radius of the compressor, guaranteeing optimal efficiency and safety. Securely connect the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet using a threaded pipe, designed to be discreetly laid underground. Upon setting the control cabinet, expertly link the wiring terminals within it to the lines of the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless integration and operation.
