3.3.1 To set the stage for the optimal performance of the Overall Base Compressor with Speed Regulation for Sugar Liquid Processing, position the compressor base seamlessly on the foundation. Slide wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve impeccable leveling.
Artfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring perfect leveling of the unit. Fortify the structure by spot welding the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points, enhancing stability and endurance.
Craft the wedges with precision according to your unique operational conditions. Ensure the contact surface is flawlessly finished, guaranteeing consistent contact of the inclined plane.
The robust wedge iron should boast a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to fine-tune the horizontality of the unit. Adhere to stringent leveling standards: achieve an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure perfect alignment of the coupling to maintain peak operational efficiency. Prior to initiating alignment, meticulously fulfill the following prerequisites:
1) Safeguard the workspace by switching off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the coupling;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for thorough inspection;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free of debris, dirt, and extraneous attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is adequately larger than the bolt, facilitating precise motor adjustments by loosening the bolt with ease;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's foot. Ensure these gaskets are spotless and impeccably flat, never resort to using long or slender gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, to achieve exact measurements (self-supplied by the customer);
8) Ready the bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to securely position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge and position a dial indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Through meticulous adjustment of the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines precisely. Aim for a maximum deviation of 0.05mm in the outer circle, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor low-speed shaft center line, and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) In the final step, firmly secure the motor foot bolts and conduct a comprehensive review of the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout;;
12) Following the successful completion of the motor idling test, reassemble the coupling intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 Post alignment, with the casing's 'levelness' meticulously adjusted, securely tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts for enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, must be shielded from any solid or liquid intrusion to prevent irreversible damage. Prioritize cleanliness in inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor. Ensure compliance with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Rectify any non-compliant pipelines.Consider augmenting your setup with solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to ensure impeccable purity.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Align with the PI diagram to incorporate relevant pipeline accessories. Support the pipeline independently with a separate bracket, ensuring no undue load is placed on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated equipment has been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, you are set to embark on the compressor operation test, ensuring a seamless and efficient performance.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency, position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius. Ensure that the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is expertly connected through underground threading pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, carefully connect the wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing a flawless integration.
