Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Position the compressor base securely on the designated foundation. Enhance stability by placing wedge-shaped shims underneath (these are essential for achieving an optimal unit level).
Incorporate alternating wedge-shaped iron pieces, ensuring the unit is perfectly leveled. Secure these wedges with spot welds at 4-5 strategic points. The
user is responsible for manufacturing and installing these wedges based on specific needs, ensuring the contact surface is perfectly finished for uniform contact.

3.3.2 Employ a precision level to meticulously fine-tune the unit's leveling. The stringent leveling specifications are: axial level accuracy at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level accuracy at 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 To achieve precise coupling alignment, the following preparatory steps must be observed:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate segment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and extraneous materials;
5) The motor bolt openings should be larger than the bolts themselves, facilitating easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Amass a sufficient supply of stainless steel gaskets to adequately support the motor's footing. Gaskets should be devoid of attachments and perfectly flat; avoid using thin, elongated gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (procured by the customer);
8) Prepare a secure bracket for positioning the dial indicator, as illustrated below;

9) Mount the motor wheel hub bracket to position the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring the probe contacts the compressor's wheel hub edge;
10) Adjust the motor's support bolts meticulously to align the compressor and motor's center lines (as per relevant instructions). The outer circle deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line; coupling end face should maintain 0.03~0.05mm clearance;

11) Firmly secure the motor foot bolts and perform a thorough review of the coupling's outer circle and end face runout.;
12) Proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, anchor bolts should be tightened. Post mechanical or trial operations, bolts should be loosened and subsequently retightened for final assurance.
3.3.5 The impeller is a crucial high-speed component, and any foreign solid or liquid can cause irreparable harm. It is imperative to ensure the connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the system's required steam corrosion standards. Any discrepancy must be promptly addressed. It is advisable to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) prior to the compressor's inlet straight pipe.

3.3.6 Attach the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure import and export pipelines are outfitted with appropriate accessories as specified in the PI diagram. The associated pipelines should be supported by an independent bracket, ensuring their weight does not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its ancillary equipment has been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached complete solidification, it becomes viable to initiate the compressor operation test. This ensures that the system is thoroughly prepared for its function and any potential issues can be preemptively addressed.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency and streamlined operation, the electric control cabinet of the compressor needs to be strategically positioned within a 5m radius of the compressor unit. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be expertly executed with threading pipe that runs discreetly underground. Following the precise positioning of the electric control cabinet, ensure the seamless integration of wiring by connecting the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the corresponding lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing a reliable and seamless operational process.
