This advanced compressor is comprised of several integral components, including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base integrally on its foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims positioned beneath the base to ensure a perfectly leveled unit.
Expertly alternate two wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is leveled, securely spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 key points for optimal stability.
These wedges should be custom manufactured and installed by the user to fit the unique circumstances. It is vital that the contact surface is finished to perfection for seamless contact.
The inclined plane must be even, and it is critical that the wedge iron's bearing capacity does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to attain the desired leveling. The unit's axial leveling must be maintained at an exacting 0.05/1000mm, while its horizontal leveling is set at 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures that every operation is conducted with absolute precision and accuracy.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling centering. Before commencing alignment, adhere to these essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is switched off to guarantee safety.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the necessary components.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to facilitate proper alignment.
4) Verify motor installation plane flatness, ensuring it is free from any impurities, dirt, or unwanted attachments.
5) Motor bolt holes must exceed the size of bolts to allow for adjustment loosening.
6) Prepare an ample supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to ensure secure motor footing. Avoid using substandard long or thin gaskets.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, ensuring it is supplied by the customer.
8) Ready the bracket designed to support the dial indicator, based on the illustration below.
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust motor foot bolts to align compressor and motor center lines, achieving a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. Motor shaft center line should exceed compressor low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face at 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely fasten motor foot bolts and reassess outer circle runout and coupling end face runout for precision.;
12) Following the motor's idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section to complete the process.
3.3.4 Once the casing's alignment and levelness are adjusted, tighten anchor bolts. After thorough mechanical or trial operations, retighten bolts for maximum security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating part, must remain free from solids or liquids to avoid permanent compressor damage. Ensure all connected pipelines are clean and compliant with steam corrosion standards.For non-compliant pipelines, implement corrective measures and consider adding solid-liquid separation units like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere strictly to the PI diagram, ensuring pipelines are supported by independent brackets, not bearing on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan along with its supplementary equipment has been flawlessly installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, the stage is set for conducting the compressor's operational test. This significant milestone ensures that each component is poised for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For seamless connectivity, the compressor's electric control cabinet must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring, securely enclosed in threading pipes, should be expertly routed underground, ensuring durability and protection. Once the control cabinet is precisely aligned, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within to the networks at the remote DCS, ensuring a synergy that's as robust as it is efficient.
