This is achieved by ingeniously reutilizing the energy from secondary steam. The fundamental principle revolves around compressing the secondary steam, which is produced by the evaporator, using a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This process cleverly converts electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This temperature elevation allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats the materials, causing evaporation. Through this remarkable process, the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam is effectively recycled, showcasing an innovative approach to energy conservation.
The DML Series Low Temperature Rise Steam Compressor is an engineering marvel, primarily consisting of several key components: the compressor body, which includes the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal, along with the coupling, motor, and sophisticated electric instruments. Each part of this complex assembly is meticulously crafted to ensure optimal performance and efficiency, making it a standout choice in the realm of steam compression technology.
3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base integrally onto the designated foundation. Beneath the base, strategically position wedge-shaped shims to facilitate precise unit leveling.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is leveled to perfection, perform spot welding on the wedge-shaped irons at four to five crucial points.
Ensure that the user manufactures and installs the wedge according to the real-world conditions, with a polished contact surface that guarantees an even and effective contact of the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a high-precision level to determine the exact level. The unit's leveling criteria are rigorous: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with utmost accuracy. Before commencing alignment, ensure the fulfillment of the following essential prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the primary power supply immediately;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Thoroughly inspect the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring the absence of any foreign materials, dirt, or attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed the bolt size, allowing flexibility to loosen the bolts for motor adjustments;
6) Secure a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's foot effectively. Gaskets must be free of any attachments and remain perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which should be procured independently by the customer;
8) Ready the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the forthcoming diagram;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for placing a dial indicator on the hub's edge, and position the indicator probe along the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through meticulous adjustment of the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines as closely as possible, or as specified in the instructions. Ensure the outer circle's maximum deviation is a minuscule 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face tolerance should be within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by fastening the motor foot bolts securely. Reassess the runout of the outer circle and the end face of the coupling, ensuring both remain within acceptable parameters;;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section, confirming structural integrity and performance efficiency.
3.3.4 Subsequent to refining the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operations or trials, loosen and retighten these bolts to reaffirm stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a vital high-speed rotating component; vigilance is imperative as any intrusion of solids or liquids could inflict irreversible harm to the compressor. Thus, it is paramount to ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines linked with the compressor remain pristine and align with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. Installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines must integrate relevant pipeline accessories as dictated by the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor requires independent support via another bracket, with its weight bearing distinctly separate from the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, you are ready to commence the compressor operation test. This crucial stage ensures your system is primed for optimal performance, setting the stage for reliable operation.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet for the compressor within a convenient 5m radius of the compressor itself. Utilize a secure underground threading pipe to connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet. Once the cabinet is securely in place, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a seamless integration.
