Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base precisely on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims strategically beneath the base to ensure the unit is level.
Skillfully arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is leveled, apply precise spot welds at 4 to 5 points to secure the wedges.
Fabrication and installation of wedges should be tailored to the user's specific needs, ensuring a flawless contact surface for even distribution of pressure.
The inclined plane must make even contact, with the wedge iron bearing capacity strictly limited to a maximum of 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Achieve perfect leveling using a level tool. The unit's axial level precision should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level precision should be 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure the leveling precision of the unit aligns with these exacting standards.

3.3.3 Ensure meticulous centering of the coupling. Before beginning alignment, adhere to the following essential prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply completely.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for unobstructed access.
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling for alignment.
4) Confirm the motor installation plane is perfectly flat, free of debris, dirt, or unwanted attachments.
5) Motor bolt holes must be larger than the bolts to allow easy loosening for motor adjustments.
6) Keep ample stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor foot, ensuring they are clean and perfectly flat, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, provided by the customer.
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure.

9) Utilize a motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for precision.
10) With careful adjustment of the motor foot bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines to be almost identical. Maximum deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face deviation should remain between 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Once alignment is confirmed, securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout.;
12) Reattach the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-alignment, tighten all anchor bolts on the casing. After initial mechanical operation or trial run, re-loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure stability.

3.3.5 The impeller, vital for high-speed rotation, must remain clear of any solid or liquid contaminants to prevent irreversible damage. Ensure that all compressor-connected pipelines are pristine, adhering to steam corrosion grade standards. Pipelines failing to meet these criteria must undergo rectification. We recommend integrating solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. These pipelines should feature relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure that the pipeline attached to the compressor is supported by an independent bracket, ensuring the compressor body bears no excess weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its ancillary equipment has been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test. This pivotal stage ensures all components are perfectly aligned and functioning, paving the way for efficient operational performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically installed within a close proximity of 5 meters from the compressor itself. To ensure seamless connectivity, the wiring should be securely encased within threading pipes that are carefully laid underground. Once the electric control cabinet is precisely positioned, it is crucial to meticulously connect the wiring terminals inside with the lines at the remote DCS, facilitating optimal control and monitoring.
