3.3.1 Begin the installation by placing the compressor base seamlessly on the foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims strategically beneath the base to achieve a precise unit level.
Ensure a meticulous placement of alternate wedge-shaped irons, level the unit, then skillfully spot weld the wedge irons at 4 to 5 critical points to maintain stability.
Craft and install the wedges tailored to the actual circumstances, ensuring a finely finished contact surface for even interaction with the inclined plane.
The bearing prowess of the wedge iron should remain within the limit of 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Employ precision tools like a level to ascertain the unit's level. Adhere to stringent leveling criteria: the axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level must not exceed 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these precise measurements are consistently met throughout the installation.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with accuracy. Before proceeding with alignment, confirm the following pivotal steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off.
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is devoid of any foreign materials or debris.
5) The motor bolt holes should have ample clearance to facilitate loosening and adjusting as necessary.
6) Stock adequate flat stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets between the motor and the base.
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter, accurate to 0.01mm, for alignment tasks.
8) Prepare a supportive bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated in the guide.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to fit a dial indicator, placing the probe precisely on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet carefully using adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor centerlines, ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle is just 0.05mm. The motor shaft's centerline should be marginally higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft centerline.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section after a successful motor idling test, ensuring everything is in prime working order.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment, tighten the anchor bolts after leveling and alignment. During or after trial operation, release and re-tighten the bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a critical high-speed component, requires immaculate protection against any solid or liquid intrusion. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the steam corrosion standards of the system.Consider implementing solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, to safeguard the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Properly install both the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. All import and export pipelines should feature relevant accessories per the PI diagram, and must be independently supported to prevent undue strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete is thoroughly solidified, it's time to embark on the compressor operation test. This pivotal moment ensures everything is in perfect harmony before moving forward.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, a crucial component of the compressor system, must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. For utmost safety and efficiency, the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be elegantly connected via threading pipes that run discreetly underground. After the electric control cabinet is properly positioned, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a flawless integration.
