The direct compression heat pump distillation technique innovatively utilizes the vapor phase at the tower's summit as the operational fluid. Through the integration of an external steam compressor, the energy level of the vapor is significantly enhanced, transforming it into a high-temperature heat source for the reboiler at the tower's base. As illustrated in the accompanying figure, this state-of-the-art distillation method is ideally suited for separation systems characterized by minimal temperature variations and closely related boiling points between the uppermost and lowermost sections of the tower.

3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally positioned on the foundation, with wedge-shaped shims placed beneath it to ensure a perfectly leveled unit.
Position alternating wedge-shaped irons precisely. Once the unit is leveled, secure the wedges with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points.
These wedges must be custom-manufactured and installed by the user to match the specific conditions on-site. Ensure the contact surfaces are impeccably finished,
allowing for even contact of inclined planes. Remember, the wedge iron should not bear more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve precise leveling. Unit leveling specifications are: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Centralize the coupling alignment. Prior to beginning alignment, confirm these essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is switched off;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the intermediary section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free from debris, dirt, or any attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed bolt size, allowing looseness for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets for the motor's foot, keeping them flat and free of attachments. Avoid using long, thin gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm precision, as provided by the customer;
8) Ready a bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the diagram below;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for positioning a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, with its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines accordingly. The maximum deviation around the circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line placed higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face deviation should be between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and recheck both the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling.
12) After conducting a motor idle test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing has been leveled and aligned, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following the mechanical or trial operation, loosen, then retighten the bolts for secure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating part—any solid or liquid intrusion could inflict irreversible damage on the compressor. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculate and conform to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Any pipelines falling short of these standards must be promptly rectified.It is advised to incorporate solid-liquid separation devices, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe leading to the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with all necessary pipeline accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. The pipelines connected to the compressor should be supported by a separate bracket, ensuring their weight is not burdened on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, accompanied by its ancillary equipment, is installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, it is time to move forward with the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything is functioning optimally, setting the stage for peak performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, a pivotal component of the compressor, should be positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. To ensure safety and efficiency, the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet must be skillfully threaded through a conduit, securely buried underground. Once the cabinet is in its designated spot, it is essential to connect the wiring terminals within the control cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, thus ensuring seamless communication and control.
