3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base seamlessly onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims strategically placed beneath the base to achieve optimal leveling of the unit. These shims serve as essential tools for adjusting the unit to precision levels.
Continue the setup by alternating two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring they are correctly positioned. Once the unit achieves perfect leveling, secure the irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points, solidifying the setup.
The manufacturing and installation of these wedges should be tailored by the user based on specific site conditions. It's crucial that the contact surfaces are finished to ensure even contact across the inclined planes.
Do note that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed the limit of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to meticulously find the horizontal and axial level. The unit's leveling requirements stand at an impressive 0.05/1000mm axially and 0.10/1000mm horizontally, ensuring precision and stability.
The horizontal alignment is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and longevity of the unit.
3.3.3 Achieving perfect coupling alignment is paramount. Before embarking on this task, verify the following essential prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the components;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section, preparing it for precise alignment;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness, confirming it's free from debris, dirt, or any attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes, allowing for bolt loosening, facilitating motor adjustments with ease;
6) Amass an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's feet. These gaskets must be clean, flat, and robust, avoiding any long, thin variants for adjustments;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with a meticulous accuracy of 0.01mm, a tool to be sourced by the customer for ultimate accuracy;
8) Arrange the necessary supporting bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for precise readings;
10) By adeptly adjusting the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines to near perfection, with the maximum outer circle deviation strictly at 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should ideally be slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft, with coupling end face deviations ranging from 0.03 to 0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then meticulously reassess both the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling for assurance of alignment;;
12) Once the motor has undergone successful idling tests, proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post alignment and level adjustment, ensure all anchor bolts are firmly tightened. After the system undergoes mechanical operation or trial runs, slightly loosen and retighten bolts to secure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed rotating component, demands absolute cleanliness of its associated inlet and outlet pipelines. The presence of any solid or liquid can inflict severe damage. Thus, ensure all connecting pipelines are immaculately clean and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines failing to meet these standards require immediate rectification.It is highly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, ahead of the compressor inlet straight pipe to avert potential damage.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, incorporating all relevant pipeline accessories as delineated in the PI diagram. Ensure that the pipeline connected to the compressor is independently supported, as its weight must not bear down on the compressor body to maintain structural integrity.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its essential auxiliary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete foundation has reached complete solidity, you are ready to embark on the operation test of the compressor. 3.3.8 For optimal performance and seamless integration, the electrical control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius.
