3.3.1 To start the installation, carefully place the compressor base entirely on the designated foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure the unit is precisely leveled.
Strategically position two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, proceed with spot welding the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 key points to secure them.
The manufacturing and installation of the wedge will be tailored by the user, based on specific circumstances. Ensure that the contact surfaces are impeccably finished for perfect contact of the inclined planes.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should be meticulously monitored, ensuring it does not surpass 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precise level to achieve optimal leveling of the unit. The stringent leveling criteria demand that the unit's axial level is set at 0.05/1000mm, while maintaining a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures stable and reliable operation.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Prior to initiating alignment, confirm the following essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Detach the coupling shield attentively;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with care;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane to verify its flatness and ensure it is free of debris, dirt, and foreign attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, permitting bolts to be loosened for motor adjustments;
6) Adequately prepare stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor feet. These gaskets should remain attachment-free and impeccably flat, avoiding long or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, as supplied by the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy supporting bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to install a dial indicator at the hub's edge, positioning the dial indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor hub;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center line meticulously. The maximum outer circle deviation should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line.
11) After adjustments, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, thoroughly review the outer circle runout, and verify the coupling end face runout.;
12) Once the motor undergoes a successful idling test, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of levelness and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following either mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts for consistency.
3.3.5 Given the impeller's high-speed rotation, any intrusion of solids or liquids can inflict irreparable damage to the compressor. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines connecting to the compressor are pristine and comply with the system's steam corrosion grade.Pipelines failing to meet these rigorous standards must undergo rectification. Implementing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, is advisable before the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for installing relevant pipeline accessories. The compressor-connected pipeline should be supported by an independent bracket, preventing any load on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with its ancillary equipment, has been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, you are primed to embark on the compressor operation test. This essential step ensures optimal functionality and efficiency, paving the way for seamless operation.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To ensure secure and efficient connectivity, utilize threading pipes to run the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet, with an underground pathway for added protection. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, carefully connect the wiring terminals inside the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a flawless integration and communication system.
