3.3.1 Ensure the peak performance of your Steam Compressor, boasting Overall Base and Guide Vane Adjustment Features from the esteemed NANTONG DART-RICH FAN CO., LTD. Properly position the compressor base securely on a stable foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims deftly placed beneath the base, to precisely level the unit with skill and precision.
Arrange the wedge-shaped irons meticulously in an alternating fashion. Once the unit reaches perfect leveling, execute precise spot welds at 4 to 5 key points on the wedge-shaped irons. The wedges should be customized by the user, tailored to specific needs, ensuring a flawlessly smooth contact surface for balanced force distribution.
The contact surface must be impeccably finished to guarantee uniform contact of the inclined plane. It is crucial to maintain the bearing capacity of the wedge iron below 40Kg/cm2, ensuring optimal performance.
3.3.2 Employ a precise level to establish the unit's level meticulously. Adhere to strict leveling standards with an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring unmatched accuracy.
3.3.3 Follow these essential steps to achieve flawless coupling alignment:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off to prioritize safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield, ensuring no damage occurs;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with utmost precision;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for flatness and cleanliness, ensuring it's free from any foreign materials;
5) Verify motor bolt holes are sufficiently large compared to the bolts themselves, allowing for necessary loosening and adjustments;
6) Prepare an ample supply of top-notch stainless steel gaskets for the motor's base. These should be perfectly flat and without attachments; avoid using long or thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy, which should be supplied by the customer;
8) Construct a robust bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the diagram;
9) Securely mount a dial indicator on the motor wheel hub's edge via the motor wheel hub mounting bracket, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer rim;
10) With meticulous precision, adjust the motor feet bolts to align the motor and compressor center lines. Ensure the outer circle's deviation does not exceed 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line, maintaining a coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm.
11) Perform a comprehensive review and securely tighten motor foot bolts. Critically assess the outer circle runout and the coupling's end face runout for optimal alignment.
12) After successful motor idling tests, proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section, ensuring seamless operational functionality.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are expertly adjusted, ensure stability by tightening the anchor bolts securely. Post mechanical or trial operations, it is crucial to loosen and retighten the bolts for lasting reliability.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed rotating component, must be protected from any solid or liquid intrusions to prevent irreversible compressor damage. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are immaculately clean and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines not meeting these criteria require immediate rectification.Incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor's inlet straight pipe to maintain system integrity and efficiency.
3.3.6 Begin the installation process of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure that the import and export pipelines are equipped with the appropriate pipeline accessories as illustrated in the PI diagram. It is absolutely essential that the pipeline connected to the compressor is supported by an independent bracket. This precaution prevents any excess weight from being placed on the compressor body itself, safeguarding its integrity and functionality.
3.3.7 With the main fan and its associated equipment meticulously installed and the concrete foundation achieving complete solidity, you are now ready to embark on the crucial phase of conducting a compressor operation test. This exciting step is vital, as it ensures that every component is in perfect working order, setting the stage for optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 Strategically position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Employ a durable threading pipe to seamlessly connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet, discreetly routing it underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, proceed to meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a robust and reliable control link that enhances operational efficiency and control.
