This process elevates the steam to a superior grade, functioning as a reboiler heat source at the base of the tower. By doing so, it ingeniously recovers the latent heat of the steam positioned at the tower's pinnacle.
Our direct compression heat pump distillation employs the tower's top vapor phase astutely as the working fluid. By utilizing an external steam compressor, it effectively elevates the energy level of this vapor phase, transforming it into a high-temperature heat source ideal for the tower's bottom reboiler. As illustrated in the accompanying figure, this cutting-edge distillation method is perfectly suited for separation systems characterized by minimal temperature differences and closely matched boiling points between the tower's top and bottom.
The centrifugal compressor, a cornerstone of our heat pump distillation system, encompasses the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base seamlessly onto its foundation. To ensure perfect leveling, insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base. These shims are essential for fine-tuning the unit's level.
Next, strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is impeccably level, secure these irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 points. This stage is crucial for maintaining structural integrity.
The wedge's manufacturing and installation should be tailored by the user to align with specific circumstances. Ensure all contact surfaces are finished to perfection for even contact on inclined planes.
The wedge iron's bearing capacity should never exceed the threshold of 40Kg/cm², guaranteeing optimal performance.2).
3.3.2 Achieve flawless leveling using a precision level. The unit's leveling criteria are stringent: the axial level must be accurate to 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should not exceed 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure perfect coupling alignment. Prior to initiating alignment, confirm the following essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for unobstructed access;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Meticulously check the motor installation plane for any foreign objects, dirt, or attachments, ensuring pristine conditions;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening and precise motor adjustments;
6) Prepare a generous supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor foot. These gaskets must be attachment-free and impeccably flat, avoiding the use of long or thin gaskets for base adjustment;
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with an accuracy of 0.01mm, as provided by the customer;
8) Securely position the dial indicator using a bracket, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring precise placement of the dial indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Achieve alignment by adjusting the bolts surrounding the motor feet. Align the compressor and motor center lines, ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle remains at 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be slightly higher than the compressor’s low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for precision;;
12) Finally, reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 With 'levelness' and alignment meticulously adjusted, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. After conducting mechanical or trial operations, re-loosen and re-tighten the bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller, spinning at high speeds, demands utmost protection. Foreign solids or liquids can cause severe, irreversible damage. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines connecting the compressor are pristine and adhere to the system's required steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo immediate rectification.To maintain the compressor's integrity, it is recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor inlet and outlet pipes. These pipelines must include relevant accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. Ensure the pipelines are supported by a separate bracket, as their weight must not compromise the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its auxiliary equipment is complete and the concrete base has fully solidified to ensure maximum stability, you can proceed with the exciting step of conducting the compressor operation test.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. For optimal safety and efficiency, the wiring must be securely connected using threading pipes, which should be routed underground. After the electric control cabinet is set in place, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the corresponding lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless and precise communication.
