3.3.1 Begin by expertly situating the Overall Base Steam Compressor on its foundation, ensuring a steadfast placement. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve impeccable leveling.
Position the wedge-shaped irons alternately, achieving flawless alignment. Secure with precision spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points, reflecting a commitment to excellence.
These wedges shall be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions encountered. Guarantee that the contact surface is impeccably finished, ensuring even contact of the inclined plane.
Note, the bearing capacity of each wedge must not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm.2.
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain the utmost precision. The leveling criteria are stringent: the axial level shall be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level shall be 0.10/1000mm, exemplifying meticulous attention to detail.

3.3.3 Ensuring the coupling is perfectly centered is pivotal. Prior to initiating the alignment, adhere to the following crucial steps:
1) Disengage the main power supply, prioritizing safety;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring an immaculate surface devoid of debris and contaminants;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt size, allowing bolts to be loosened for precise motor adjustment;
6) Amass an ample collection of stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's foot, ensuring they are free from attachments and impeccably flat. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets for adjustments to maintain integrity;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with an accuracy of 0.01mm, for unparalleled alignment (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a sturdy support bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket shall accommodate a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the probe placed on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By masterfully adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to near perfection, ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle does not exceed 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face tolerances set between 0.03 and 0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, reassessing and verifying the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling to ensure impeccable alignment.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are impeccably adjusted, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, re-loosen and securely retighten the bolts, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to precision.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, must be shielded from all solid or liquid intrusions, which could inflict irreversible damage upon the compressor. Meticulously ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine, fully complying with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Any pipeline falling short must undergo immediate rectification.Strategically incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, preceding the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to safeguard operational integrity.
3.3.6 With utmost precision, install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with requisite accessories in accordance with the PI diagram. Pipelines connected to the compressor should be supported independently, ensuring the compressor body carries no undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan along with all its associated ancillary equipment is completed and the concrete foundation has thoroughly solidified, you are ready to perform the compressor operation test. This ensures everything is securely set and optimally prepared for testing.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be established via an underground threading pipe. Once the electric control cabinet is properly installed, it is crucial to connect its wiring terminals with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless operation and control.
