3.3.1 To begin the installation process, securely position the compressor base upon its foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims to finely adjust and balance the unit's level.
Carefully alternate two wedge irons during leveling, and once achieved, perform a spot weld on the irons at 4 to 5 points for stability.
Craft and position the wedge iron to match your specific conditions, ensuring its contact surface is impeccably finished for consistent contact with the inclined plane.
The wedge iron's capacity should not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm², guaranteeing steadfast support.2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve flawless alignment. Adhere to the unit's leveling criteria: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and an impeccable horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Consistency in leveling is crucial for optimal performance and longevity.
3.3.3 Master the art of coupling centering with meticulous alignment requirements:
1) Prioritize safety by ensuring the main power supply is switched off;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield to prevent interference during the process;
3) Gently remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to access the alignment area;
4) Verify the motor's installation plane for cleanliness and absence of debris, dirt, or attachments for optimal flatness;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes, allowing for smooth adjustments by loosening them;
6) Amass sufficient stainless steel gaskets to snugly support the motor's footing, ensuring their surface is pristine and flat, avoiding long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Opt for accurate alignment tools like a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm precision, sourced by the customer;
8) Equip a robust bracket for the dial indicator as depicted in the illustration below;
9) Mount the dial indicator on the motor wheel hub bracket, positioning its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for precision measuring;
10) Skillfully adjust bolts around the motor feet for precise alignment, ensuring the compressor and motor center lines synchronize with a maximum deviation of 0.05mm, and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Once aligned, firmly secure the motor foot bolts and recheck runout measurements for both outer circle and coupling end face.;
12) Subsequently, after a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section to finalize the setup.
3.3.4 Post alignment and leveling, fortify the installation by tightening the anchor bolts, repeating the process after a trial operation for optimal security.
3.3.5 With the impeller being a high-speed marvel, preventing solid or liquid intrusion is crucial to prevent irreparable damage. Ensure compliance with steam corrosion standards by cleaning connected pipelines. Rectify any non-conforming pipelines.It's advisable to include solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 For the installation of inlet and outlet pipes, follow PI diagram specifications. Support the connected pipeline externally to avoid undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are perfectly installed and the concrete base has reached complete solidification, you can proceed with the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures that your Innovative Steam Compressor is ready to deliver outstanding performance for efficient vanadium extraction in wastewater solutions.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring journey from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is to be skillfully connected through threading pipe, ensuring it runs discreetly underground. Upon the electric control cabinet's installation, complete the connection by linking the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, orchestrating a perfect harmony of technological precision.
