MVR, an acronym for mechanical vapor recompression, represents a cutting-edge energy-saving technology that significantly minimizes the need for external energy. This is achieved by ingeniously recycling the energy of secondary steam it generates. The core principle involves the secondary steam produced by the evaporator being compressed by a highly efficient steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, increasing the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature then channels the secondary steam back to the evaporator, heating the materials and triggering evaporation. This facilitates the remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by meticulously positioning the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims under the base to facilitate precise leveling of the unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately for enhanced stability. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The user should manufacture and install the wedge according to the specific situation. Ensure the contact surface is expertly finished for even contact of the inclined plane.
Note that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should be no greater than 40Kg/cm.

3.3.2 Employ a level for precision. The unit's leveling requirements are: axial level of 0.05/1000mm, horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
These specifications ensure optimal performance and reliability.

3.3.3 Achieve coupling centering with the following preparatory steps:
1) Ensure safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Remove the coupling shield to access necessary components;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for alignment procedures;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it's free of foreign materials, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are dimensionally larger than the bolts to allow for adjustments;
6) Prepare ample quantities of stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage, ensuring they are flat and free from attachments. Avoid using lengthy and thin gaskets between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which the customer must supply;
8) Equip yourself with a bracket as depicted in the diagram below to support the dial indicator effectively;

9) Mount the motor wheel hub bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, with the probe on the compressor wheel hub's exterior edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor central lines, allowing a maximum deviation of 0.05mm, and ensure the motor shaft center line is superior to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face deviation should be within 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts for precision alignment.;
12) Post motor idle test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section to finalize the setup.
3.3.4 Upon achieving the desired casing 'levelness' and alignment, meticulously tighten anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, loosen and re-tighten these bolts for enhanced durability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, must remain pristine. Any solid or liquid intrusion can inflict irreversible damage. Ensure the connected pipelines are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines failing to meet these standards require rectification.
Implement solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) preceding the compressor inlet's straight pipe for optimal protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. According to the PI diagram, incorporate relevant pipeline accessories. Support any connected pipelines with external brackets, ensuring their weight isn't borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment are securely in place and the concrete foundation has fully set, the next step is to initiate a comprehensive compressor operation test. This pivotal phase ensures that every component operates seamlessly, setting the stage for optimal performance.
3.3.8 To ensure seamless integration and accessibility, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be meticulously executed using underground threading pipes, ensuring durability and protection. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, establish a reliable connection by linking the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines. This setup guarantees efficient and uninterrupted operation.
