Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base, a masterpiece of engineering, is meticulously placed on the foundation. Enhance its precision by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, ensuring perfect leveling of the unit.
Artfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons and, after achieving the desired level, secure them with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges, a testament to craftsmanship,
are to be custom-manufactured and intricately installed by the user to match the specific conditions. Ensure the contact surface is immaculately finished, allowing for a seamless and even contact of the inclined
planes. Note the crucial specification: the bearing capacity of these quality-crafted wedge irons must not exceed 40 Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 For precision leveling, employ only the best—use a level. The unit's axial level should adhere to exacting standards of 0.05/1000mm, while its horizontal level should be no more than 0.10/1000mm.
The utmost precision is paramount.

3.3.3 Ensuring the coupling is perfectly centered is essential. Before embarking on this alignment journey, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Ensure absolute safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Remove the coupling shield to reveal the majestic mechanism beneath;
3) Disengage the diaphragm coupling’s intermediate section, providing clear access for precision alignment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane’s flatness meticulously, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and any attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole must be larger than the bolt size, allowing flexibility in loosening for precise motor adjustments;
6) Equip yourself with a plentiful supply of stainless steel gaskets to envelop the motor’s foot. These gaskets must be pristine and perfectly flat, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for adjustment;
7) For precision alignment, use a high-accuracy dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, with a precision of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket, as depicted in the figures, to support the dial indicator;

9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is designed to hold the dial indicator on the wheel hub’s edge, allowing the probe to gauge the compressor wheel hub’s outer edge;
10) Achieve precise alignment by adjusting bolts around the motor feet, ensuring the compressor and motor center lines align harmoniously (or as specified), with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line must be slightly elevated above the compressor’s low-speed shaft center line, with the coupling end face deviation measured between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Finally, secure the motor foot bolts firmly and re-evaluate the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) After a successful motor idling test, masterfully reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, tighten the anchor bolts with precision. After a mechanical or trial operation, release and retighten these bolts to ensure unwavering stability.
3.3.5 To protect the high-speed rotating impeller from irreversible harm, ensure cleanliness of inlet and outlet pipelines, meeting stringent steam corrosion standards. Any noncompliance must be promptly rectified. It is advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, just before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet, safeguarding the system's integrity.

3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes, adhering to the PI diagram for relevant pipeline accessories. The compressor's connected pipeline must be independently supported by an external bracket, ensuring no undue weight is borne by the compressor body itself, thus preserving its optimal function.
3.3.7 Upon the complete installation of the main fan and its supporting equipment, and after the concrete has fully solidified, you are ready to begin the compressor operation test. This marks a crucial phase in ensuring the system's readiness, reliability, and efficiency. 3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For optimal safety and neatness, the wiring should be connected using threading pipes that are routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is installed, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the remote DCS lines. This setup ensures a streamlined and secure connection, facilitating smooth and efficient operational control.
