3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base securely on the foundation. This involves placing wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, which are essential for fine-tuning and ensuring the unit's level alignment. A meticulous approach is crucial for a flawless setup.
Arrange the wedge-shaped irons in an alternating sequence. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the wedges with spot welds at 4 to 5 points. This technique ensures prolonged stability and precision.
The user should custom-fabricate the wedges based on specific conditions. It is imperative that the contact surfaces are meticulously finished to ensure even contact across inclined planes.
The bearing capacity of each wedge must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Use a leveling tool to achieve the desired precision. The axial level must be 0.05/1000mm and the horizontal level should be maintained at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring precision and stability.

3.3.3 Coupling alignment is critical. Prior to initiating the alignment process, adhere to the following preparatory steps:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield; an essential step for access.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section, allowing for unimpeded alignment.
4) Scrutinize the motor installation surface, ensuring it is devoid of any debris or contaminants.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolt size. This flexibility allows for precise motor adjustments.
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets for the motor's footing. These must be devoid of any attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments, to maintain integrity.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm. This precision tool must be supplied by the customer.
8) Set up the bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated, ensuring a stable and accurate setup.
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator. Position the probe meticulously on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor's surrounding adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. Maintain a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle. The motor shaft center line should be marginally higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts. Reassess the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout to ensure alignment integrity.;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section to complete the alignment process.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Post operation, loosen and retighten these bolts to maintain firmness and stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation necessitates that no solids or liquids intrude, as this would cause irreparable damage. Ensuring inlet and outlet pipelines are spotless and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards is crucial. Pipelines that fall short of this must be upgraded for optimal performance.It is advisable to install solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe, to enhance protection and efficiency.
3.3.6 Connect the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes as dictated by the PI diagram. Additional pipeline accessories must be installed appropriately. Ensure the pipeline is supported independently and never reliant on the compressor body for structural support.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all related ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has fully solidified, it is time to embark on the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself.
