3.3.1 Begin by carefully positioning the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims strategically placed under the base to achieve level perfection.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure them with spot welds at 4-5 points. Ensure maximum stability.
Users should manufacture and install these wedges tailored to their specific requirements. Achieve impeccable contact surfaces with even inclined plane contact.
Ensure the wedge iron's bearing capability does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ensure the highest standards of alignment. The axial level should be a precise 0.05/1000mm while maintaining a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling meticulously. Before you engage in alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are flawlessly met:
1) Securely switch off the main power supply as a priority;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield for unhindered access;
3) Detach the intermediary section of the diaphragm coupling with precision;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, free from any debris or attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are adequately larger than bolt sizes to allow seamless adjustment;
6) Provide ample, attachment-free stainless steel gaskets to perfectly fit the motor foot, avoiding the use of unsuitable gaskets;
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (customer-supplied);
8) Prepare an optimal support bracket for the dial indicator as depicted below;
9) Utilize the motor hub mounting bracket for precise dial indicator placement on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Expertly adjust motor foot bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines, ensuring maximum deviation is capped at 0.05mm, with coupling end face between 0.03-0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening motor foot bolts, reviewing both outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling;;
12) Post motor idle testing, seamlessly install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once "levelness" and alignment are refined, anchor bolts must be securely tightened. After mechanical trials, re-loosen and re-tighten to ensure optimal performance.
3.3.5 The impeller, a critical high-speed component, must remain free of any solids or liquids to prevent irreversible damage. Ensure immaculate cleanliness of inlet and outlet pipelines, meeting steam corrosion system standards. Pipelines failing to conform should be promptly rectified.Augment safety by integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Diligently install inlet and outlet pipes for the compressor, ensuring all relevant pipeline accessories are in place as per the PI diagram. Pipelines must be independently supported, with no weight imposed on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supplementary equipment are firmly installed and the concrete has achieved full solidification, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 To ensure optimal performance, the compressor's electric control cabinet should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. For secure and efficient connectivity, the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet must be routed via an underground threading pipe. Once the electric control cabinet is properly situated, it's imperative to interconnect the wiring terminals within the cabinet with the remote DCS lines, thus establishing a robust and coherent operational network.
