Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin your journey to optimal performance by placing the compressor base integrally on the designated foundation. Place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, which are crucial for precision leveling of the unit.
Alternate the placement of these precision wedge-shaped irons to achieve a flawless leveling of the unit. Once achieved, secure the wedges decisively by spot welding at 4 to 5 strategically chosen points.
Crafted and installed to suit your unique situation, these wedges must ensure an immaculate contact surface, promising even inclination contact.
The bearing prowess of each wedge iron must not exceed the formidable capacity of 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Achieve excellence with the use of a level. The precision standards demand the unit's axial level to be at a meticulous 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should not exceed 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Perfect the alignment of the coupling with these preparatory steps:
1) Ensure safety first by switching off the main power supply;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield to access the core components;
3) Take out the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for unimpeded alignment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring no foreign objects, dirt, or unwanted attachments interfere;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts, allowing for effortless loosening and adjustment when necessary;
6) Arm yourself with an ample supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet. These gaskets must be flawless, devoid of any attachments, and robust, eschewing long and thin alternatives for adjustment purposes;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter boasting a precision of 0.01mm, a customer-prepared necessity;
8) Ready the bracket that supports the dial indicator, shown illustratively below;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to securely position a dial indicator along the wheel hub's edge, with the probe delicately resting on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts encompassing the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines optimally. Adhere to a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for the outer circle, ensuring the motor shaft center line is distinctively higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face variances calibrated to 0.03~0.05mm;

11) With precision achieved, firmly tighten the motor foot bolts, reviewing the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for assured accuracy;
12) Conclude by reinstalling the coupling intermediate section post a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Upon perfecting the casing's alignment and 'levelness', securely fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, release and re-tighten the bolts to ensure steadfast operation.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed component, remains vulnerable to irreversible damage from any solid or liquid intrusion. Safeguard the compressor by ensuring inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines falling short of these criteria require immediate rectification. It is highly
recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, just before the compressor's inlet straight pipe.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary accessories in accordance with the PI diagram. Additionally, the pipeline connected to the compressor must be independently supported by a separate bracket, ensuring the weight does not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supporting equipment are securely installed and the concrete has fully cured, it marks the exciting moment when the compressor operation test can commence. This ensures that everything is primed and ready for optimal functionality.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor strategically within a 5-meter range from the compressor to ensure efficient connectivity. Utilize a threading pipe to seamlessly connect the wiring underground from the compressor to the cabinet. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, meticulously link the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) for streamlined operations.
