3.3.1 To achieve optimal performance, the compressor base must be strategically placed on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely adjust and level the unit. This ensures stability and precision.
Interleave two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring alignment perfection. Once leveling is achieved, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 points for secured placement. Users must customize the wedges based on situational requirements.
The wedges should be expertly crafted to ensure seamless surface contact, maintaining high performance and reliability. The contact must be even on the inclined planes.
Ensure the bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm.2).
3.3.2 Leveling precision is paramount. Use a level to ensure the unit's alignment is impeccable. It demands an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Achieving these specifications guarantees the unit's optimal function and longevity.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is a meticulous process. Before alignment, adhere to the following critical checks:
1) Safely switch off the main power supply.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Ensure the motor installation plane is pristine and devoid of dirt or obstructions.
5) Confirm that motor bolt holes are ample for bolt adjustments, facilitating seamless alignment.
6) Have a stock of stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's feet. They must be flat, clean, and fit precisely to avoid misalignment.
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment tool with 0.01mm accuracy for flawless alignment.
8) Ensure the availability of a support bracket, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram, to hold the dial indicator.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to precisely position the dial indicator, ensuring it accurately measures the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Finely adjust the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. The deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft. Maintain a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Secure the motor foot bolts and re-evaluate the runout of the coupling's outer circle and end face to ensure consistency and precision.;
12) After a thorough motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section, ensuring flawless integration.
3.3.4 Post-alignment and leveling of the casing, ensure the anchor bolts are firmly tightened. Post-trial operations, reassess and tighten bolts to maintain mechanical integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation makes it susceptible to damage from foreign solids or liquids. It's crucial to maintain exceptionally clean inlet and outlet pipelines to avoid irreversible compressor damage. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. We recommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet for added protection.
3.3.6 When installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, ensure all accessories align with the PI diagram. Support the connected pipelines externally to prevent undue pressure on the compressor body, safeguarding its structural integrity and functionality.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment are securely installed and the concrete has achieved complete solidification, you can embark on the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 It's crucial that the electric control cabinet for the compressor is positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself.
