The fundamental concept revolves around utilizing secondary steam, originating from the evaporator, which is then compressed through a highly efficient steam compressor. This process adeptly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, effectively elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Consequently, this temperature elevation facilitates the return of the secondary steam to the evaporator, where it actively participates in heating materials and inducing evaporation. This ingenious cycle ultimately achieves the brilliant recycling of the latent heat of vaporization within secondary steam.
The DM Series Single-Stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising a robust compressor body, precise coupling, a dynamic gearbox, an efficient lubrication system, a powerful motor, sophisticated electric instrumentation, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This compressor boasts a streamlined, compact structure, making it not only a powerful tool but also remarkably easy and convenient to maintain.
3.3.1 Begin by integrally positioning the compressor base onto the foundation. Place a wedge-shaped shim under the base to fine-tune and perfect the unit level.
Strategically arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is impeccably leveled, secure the positioning by spot welding the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points.
The user should craft and install the wedge according to the specific real-world conditions. Ensure that the contact surface is meticulously finished, allowing even distribution on the inclined plane.
Ensure that the wedge iron bears no more than 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Employ a high-precision level to ascertain the perfect level. Aim for unit alignment with axial precision of 0.05/1000mm and horizontal precision of 0.10/1000mm.
These exacting standards will ensure seamless operation.
3.3.3 Precision is key: Center the coupling with precision. Verify these requirements before initiating alignment:
1) Fully disengage the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield to access the alignment components;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane, ensuring it is immaculate, free from foreign substances and debris;
5) Motor bolt holes should be sufficiently larger than the bolts, allowing the bolts to be loosened for motor adjustment;
6) Stock up on flat, stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor footing. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets between the motor and the base for fine-tuning;
7) A dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an exactitude of 0.01mm should be utilized—customer to provide;
8) Equip yourself with a bracket that supports the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) With meticulous adjustments to the motor feet bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the maximum allowable outer circle deviation is 0.05mm, and the coupling end face deviation is 0.03~0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft.
11) Conclude by securely fastening the motor foot bolts, then reassess the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for precision.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 After adeptly adjusting the casing's level and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operations or trials, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure steadfast stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a component of high-speed rotation, must remain free of any solid or liquid intrusions to prevent irreversible compressor damage. Maintain immaculate inlet and outlet pipelines that meet the system's steam corrosion standards.In cases where pipelines are noncompliant, installation of solid-liquid separation equipment—such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee—prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe is strongly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed with the competent installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are outfitted with relevant accessories per the PI diagram. Crucially, secure the pipeline with an external bracket, avoiding burdening the compressor body with its weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supporting equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete has achieved full solidity, you can proceed to perform a comprehensive operational test on the compressor. This ensures optimal performance and reliability, setting the stage for seamless functionality.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor needs to be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To ensure a tidy and secure connection, the wiring must be routed via underground threading pipes. Once the cabinet is securely placed, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) to ensure precise control and superior operational efficiency.
