Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Start by positioning the compressor base onto its designated foundation. Ensure precision by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath it. These shims aid in leveling the unit.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly level, secure the wedges in place by spot welding them at 4 to 5 points for stability.
The user is responsible for crafting and installing wedges according to specific needs, ensuring that contact surfaces are meticulously finished for seamless contact on inclined planes.
Please ensure that the wedge iron can endure a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm².

3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve perfect leveling. The unit's axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should meet 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Coupling precision: Centering is key. Before alignment, ensure adherence to the following prerequisites:
1) Disconnect the main power to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's smoothness to prevent interference from dirt or foreign objects;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts for effortless adjustments;
6) Have stainless steel gaskets ready to secure the motor's footing. Ensure these are flat and free from debris. Avoid the use of lengthy, slender gaskets for precision fitting;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment tool with an accuracy of 0.01mm, arranged by the customer;
8) Ready the bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying diagram;

9) Utilize the motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator, ensuring exact placement on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for an outer circle deviation of no more than 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft's center line is slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft. Coupling end face deviation should be between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly. Post-adjustment, recheck both the outer circle and end face for runout;;
12) Reattach the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of alignment and levelness, anchor bolts should be tightened. After mechanical or trial operations, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds; its integrity is paramount. Contaminants will cause irreversible damage, hence, ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be modified.
Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for optimal performance.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. All pipelines should incorporate necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. The weight of these pipelines should not burden the compressor but be supported independently by separate brackets.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supporting equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete foundation has reached its full strength, it's time to proceed with the exhilarating compressor operation test. This marks a pivotal moment in ensuring the seamless performance and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically placed within 5 meters for efficiency. Ensure that the wiring, which links the compressor to the electric control cabinet, is meticulously threaded through underground pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, connect the wiring terminals within to the remote DCS lines, establishing a robust and reliable connection.
