MVR, short for mechanical vapor recompression, is a groundbreaking energy-saving innovation that dramatically cuts external energy needs. It achieves this by ingeniously repurposing the secondary steam energy it generates. The core principle involves compressing secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy. Consequently, the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam are elevated, allowing it to return to the evaporator. There, it heats the materials and induces evaporation, achieving a remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geard steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, featuring a comprehensive assembly that includes the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design is compact, ensuring ease of maintenance and promoting seamless integration into existing systems.
3.3.1 Position the compressor base entirely on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to perfect the unit's balance.
Alternately arrange two wedge-shaped irons. Once leveled, secure them with spot welds at four to five points.
Users should fabricate and install the wedge according to specific needs. The contact surface must be finished for uniform contact.
Ensure the wedge iron's load capacity does not surpass 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ensure perfect alignment. Unit's axial level precision is 0.05/1000mm; horizontal level precision is 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling meticulously. Prior to alignment, ensure:
1) Main power supply is completely off;
2) Coupling shield is removed;
3) Intermediate section of diaphragm coupling is detached;
4) Motor installation plane is spotless and free from debris;
5) Motor bolt holes are ample for bolt adjustments for optimal motor alignment;
6) Procure enough stainless steel gaskets, ensuring they're flat and debris-free. Avoid inserting long, thin gaskets between motor and base.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision (sourced by user);
8) Assemble a bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub bracket to position a dial indicator on the edge, ensuring accurate alignment of the compressor wheel hub.
10) Align the motor and compressor center lines using adjustment bolts, maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm. The motor shaft should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft. Aim for a coupling end face runout of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Secure the motor foot bolts, then verify and rectify any outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.
12) Post-idle test, reinstall the intermediate section of the coupling.
3.3.4 After refining the casing's levelness and alignment, tighten anchor bolts. Post-trial operation, loosen and retighten them.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must be safeguarded from solid or liquid intrusions to avert irreparable compressor damage. Ensure that all connecting pipelines to the compressor are pristine and comply with steam corrosion standards. Rectify any non-compliant pipelines.Consider installing solid-liquid separation devices (like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) ahead of the compressor's inlet straight pipe.
3.3.6 Connect compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Install all relevant pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. Use separate supports for the pipeline, ensuring its weight is not borne by the compressor.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment are installed and the concrete foundation has fully set, the compressor is ready for a flawless operational test. This step ensures that the entire setup is running efficiently and reliably.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, a critical component of the compressor system, should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. For seamless connectivity, use threading pipes to lay the wiring underground, linking the compressor to the control cabinet. Upon securing the cabinet in its designated position, establish connections between the cabinet's wiring terminals and the remote DCS lines to ensure comprehensive control and monitoring capabilities.
