At its core, the principle involves a sophisticated process where the secondary steam produced by the evaporator is energetically compressed using a highly efficient steam compressor. This clever conversion transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, leading to a remarkable rise in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Once transformed, this revitalized steam returns to the evaporator, effectively heating materials and inducing evaporation, thus ingeniously recycling the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a triumph of engineering, comprising key components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims under the base to seamlessly adjust the unit to perfect level, ensuring optimal performance.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is flawlessly leveled, secure the irons with precision spot welds, covering 4 to 5 points. The wedge must be
custom-made and installed by the user, tailored to the specific situation. The contact surface should be impeccably finished for even and reliable contact with the inclined
plane, ensuring that the wedge iron's bearing capacity does not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Achieve perfect leveling using a professional level. The unit's precise leveling specifications: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring operational excellence.

3.3.3 Precisely align the coupling. Before alignment, ensure these critical prerequisites are met:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off for safety;
2) Remove the coupling shield seamlessly;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Thoroughly check the motor installation plane for any debris, dirt, or attachments, ensuring pristine alignment;
5) Motor bolt holes must be larger than the bolts to allow ease of adjustment when loosening;
6) Prepare an ample supply of flat and immaculate stainless steel gaskets to underlay the motor feet. Avoid using long or thin gaskets that might compromise adjustment integrity;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (customer-supplied);
8) Set up the bracket for the dial indicator support, as shown in the accompanying diagram;

9) Mount the dial indicator on the motor hub bracket, with the probe resting on the outer edge of the compressor hub, ensuring exact readings;
10) Skillfully adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines, adhering to specifications. Keep the maximum deviation of the outer circle to 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should sit slightly above the compressor low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end face range of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Once alignment is perfected, securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Double-check the circular and end face runouts of the coupling to guarantee steadfast performance;
12) Following the motor's idle test, reinstall the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for operational readiness.
3.3.4 With precision-adjusted "levelness" and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts firmly. Post mechanical operation or trial run, relax and then retighten the bolts for enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a vital high-speed rotating component, must remain free from solid or liquid intrusion to avoid irreversible damage. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Any pipeline failing to meet these criteria must undergo immediate rectification. We strongly recommend
installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, right before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines according to the precise specifications of the PI diagram. These pipelines must be supported independently by a separate bracket, with no weight borne by the compressor body, to ensure structural integrity and reliability.
3.3.7 Upon the completion of the installation process for the main fan and its auxiliary equipment, and once the concrete has fully solidified, you will be poised to initiate a comprehensive operation test of the compressor. 3.3.8 It is imperative that the electric control cabinet for the compressor be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensure that the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is meticulously connected using a threading pipe, which should gracefully navigate underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, proceed to seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, thus establishing an efficient and reliable communication channel.
