Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To harness the peak performance of your esteemed Steam Compressor with Overall Base and Guide Vane Adjustment Features by NANTONG DART-RICH FAN CO., LTD, it is paramount to install the compressor base securely on a stable foundation. To achieve this, strategically place wedge-shaped shims under the base, expertly crafted to adjust and level the unit with precision and finesse.
Arrange these wedge-shaped shims in an alternating configuration. Upon achieving immaculate leveling, skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 carefully chosen points. These specialized wedges must be custom-made and installed by the user to suit the unique installation context, ensuring a seamless contact surface for uniform force distribution.
Expertly finish the contact surface to assure flawless contact of the inclined plane. It is essential that the load-bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not surpass 40Kg/cm2, maintaining optimal structural integrity.

3.3.2 Employ a precise level to meticulously calibrate the unit's level. Adhere to the rigorous leveling standards stipulating an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring unparalleled precision and performance.

3.3.3 Execute perfect coupling alignment by meticulously following these essential steps:
1) Prioritize utmost safety by ensuring the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield with precision;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with meticulous precision;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for flatness and cleanliness, ensuring it is free from any foreign materials;
5) Confirm that the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing for loosening and necessary motor adjustments;
6) Prepare an ample supply of premium stainless steel gaskets to robustly support the motor's base. These gaskets must be impeccably flat and free of attachments, avoiding long and thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, to be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a solidly constructed bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the provided diagram;

9) Securely mount a dial indicator on the motor wheel hub bracket, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer rim;
10) With deft expertise, adjust the motor feet adjustment bolts to harmonize the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum deviation of the outer circle should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated compared to the compressor low-speed shaft center line, keeping the coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm.

11) Finalize by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, critically examining the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout for optimal alignment.
12) Upon successful motor idling tests, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section for seamless, smooth operation.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing have been expertly refined, tighten the anchor bolts to ensure secured stability. Following mechanical or trial operations, remember to loosen and retighten the bolts to guarantee enduring reliability.
3.3.5 Considering the impeller's high-speed rotation, it is critical to avert any solid or liquid intrusions that may cause irreversible compressor damage. Assure that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are spotlessly clean and meet the system's steam corrosion grade specifications. Pipelines not complying with these standards necessitate immediate rectification.
It is highly advisable to integrate solid-liquid separation apparatus such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet, preserving system integrity and efficiency.
3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. It's imperative that the import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary pipeline accessories as illustrated in the PI diagram. To ensure optimal performance and longevity of the High-Performance Compressor, the pipeline leading to it must be supported by an independent bracket. This crucial step is designed to alleviate any excess weight from burdening the compressor body itself, thereby safeguarding its structural integrity.
3.3.7 Following the meticulous installation of the main fan and its integral equipment, and once the concrete foundation has been allowed to cure to full solidity, you are poised to enter the exhilarating phase of conducting a comprehensive compressor operation test. This pivotal step serves as a validation of the system's readiness and operational excellence, ensuring that each component is flawlessly aligned and functioning at peak efficiency.
3.3.8 Strategically position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor unit itself. Employ a robust threading pipe to connect the wiring effortlessly from the compressor to the electric control cabinet, ensuring that it remains neatly hidden underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely placed, proceed to meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS. This task is crucial in establishing a strong and dependable control link, enhancing the overall operational reliability of the system.
