This is achieved through the innovative reuse of secondary steam energy it produces. The core principle revolves around the sophisticated process where the secondary steam generated by the evaporator is ingeniously compressed using a high-efficiency, steam-powered compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into valuable thermal energy. As a result, there is an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This elevated state of the secondary steam is then redirected back into the evaporator, where it efficiently heats materials and induces further evaporation. Consequently, this process remarkably achieves the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, making it an epitome of sustainable engineering.
The DM series Single-stage geard steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising several key components: a robust compressor body, a reliable coupling, a precision-engineered gearbox, a sophisticated lubrication system, a powerful motor, a comprehensive electric instrument setup, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This meticulously designed compressor boasts a compact structure that not only optimizes space usage but also ensures ease of maintenance, making it an ideal choice for efficiency-focused applications.
3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation. Carefully position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve optimal unit leveling. These shims are essential for a seamless installation process.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the wedge-shaped irons with spot welding at 4~5 points. These iron wedges should be
manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are finely finished for consistent contact on the inclined plane. Note that the
bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2.)
3.3.2 Use a precision level to determine alignment. The leveling specifications for the unit are stringent: axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while horizontal level must be
no more than 0.10/1000mm to ensure superior performance and reliability.
3.3.3 Coupling is centered. Prior to beginning alignment, meticulously verify these crucial prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply for safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with caution;
4) Examine the flatness of the motor installation plane. Ensure it is free from any debris, dirt, and unwanted attachments for flawless alignment;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing easy loosening for precise motor adjustments;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor feet. These gaskets must be devoid of attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using long or thin gaskets for any adjustments between the motor and the base;
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter possessing an accuracy of 0.01mm, as provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to securely attach a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge. Position the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the adjustment bolts around the motor feet skillfully to align the compressor and motor center lines accurately. Ensure the maximum deviation of the outer circle remains at 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Aim for a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Once alignment is achieved, securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Re-assess the outer circle runout and the coupling's end face runout to confirm precision;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, replace the coupling's intermediate section with care.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical (or trial) operation, loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, is sensitive to any solid or liquid intrusion, which may cause irreversible damage. It is crucial that the inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion grade. Any non-compliance must be rectified promptly. It is highlyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation devices (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet for added protection.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are fitted with the appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. It is crucial that the pipeline linked to the compressor is supported by an independent bracket, without burdening the compressor body with its weight.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its supporting equipment is complete and the concrete foundation has fully set, you can then proceed with conducting the compressor operation test. This ensures everything is in optimal working order.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, install the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter range of the compressor itself. Ensure the wiring is securely connected through a threading pipe that runs underground. Once the cabinet is correctly positioned, meticulously connect the wiring terminals with the lines at the remote DCS for seamless communication and control.
