3.3.1 The compressor base should be meticulously positioned on the foundation. Carefully insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise level adjustment.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons for optimal leveling. Secure them by spot welding at 4 to 5 points, ensuring a stable setup.
The design and installation of the wedges are the user's responsibility, tailored to specific site conditions. Ensure a flawless contact surface for even distribution of weight.
Make sure the inclined plane's contact is flawless, with the wedge iron's bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ precision tools to establish a perfect level. Unit leveling requirements are critical: axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal precision of 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure the horizontal level meets the stringent standard of 0.10/1000mm for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Achieve impeccable coupling alignment. Prior to commencing, confirm these essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely deactivated;
2) Carefully detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and any foreign attachments;
5) Motor bolt holes must exceed bolt size, allowing bolts to be loosened for precise motor adjustment;
6) Ensure an ample supply of high-quality stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor feet. These gaskets must be flawless and flat, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for motor-base adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with exceptional accuracy (0.01mm), provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying figure;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket enables precise placement of a dial indicator on the hub's edge, aligning perfectly with the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through careful adjustment of the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor center line accurately (or as per instructions), ensuring a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle, with motor shaft center line appropriately elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft, and coupling end face adjustment between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and meticulously review both outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 After achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical operation, it's crucial to re-tighten them after an initial loosening.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed marvel, and any intrusion by solids or liquids can cause irreversible damage. Ensure the connected pipelines are immaculate and conform to the highest steam corrosion standards. Pipelines failing to meet these specifications require immediate correction. Installation of solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the compressor's inlet straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure pipelines are equipped with appropriate accessories per the PI diagram. The connecting pipeline must be independently supported to avoid burdening the compressor body with its weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has fully set, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 To ensure optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically installed within a 5m radius of the compressor itself. For secure and efficient connectivity, utilize threading pipes to lay the wiring underground, establishing a streamlined and protected connection to the control cabinet. Once the cabinet is securely positioned, meticulously connect the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet with the corresponding lines at the remote DCS to guarantee flawless operation and monitoring.
