3.3.1 Integrate perfection by positioning the compressor base precisely on the foundation. Slip wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to meticulously level the unit,
alternating two wedge-shaped irons. Once perfectly aligned, secure the wedges with a spot weld at 4 to 5 points. These wedges should be
crafted and fitted by the user, tailored to the specific circumstances, ensuring that the contact surface is impeccably finished for seamless
inclined plane contact. Note, the wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve flawless precision using a level. The unit's leveling precision: axial level at 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal
level at an immaculate 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure coupling perfection through centering. Prioritize these essentials before alignment:
1) Disconnect the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the intermediate diaphragm coupling section;
4) Confirm the motor installation plane is impeccably flat, free from debris and obstructions;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts for easy loosening and adjustment;
6) Gather sufficient stainless steel gaskets for the motor feet, ensuring they are attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid using slender gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a precision dial indicator or laser alignment tool with 0.01mm accuracy (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare the supporting bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor hub mounting bracket for attaching the dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, and position its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By finely adjusting the bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines (or refer to specific instructions), ensuring the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm (motor shaft center should surpass the compressor low-speed shaft center), with coupling end face deviations of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts and reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post "levelness" and casing alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. After the machinery operates (or in trial runs), loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotator, must remain untainted by solids or liquids, which could cause irreversible damage. Ensure that all connected inlet and outlet pipelines comply with steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. It's stronglyadvised to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Securely install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow PI diagram specifics for fitting pipeline accessories. The compressor-connected pipeline must be independently supported, ensuring its weight is not borne by the compressor.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its auxiliary components, and once the concrete has fully set, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 For optimal efficiency and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor itself. The electrical connections that enable the seamless functionality of the compressor are to be channeled underground using threading pipe, ensuring a sleek and unobtrusive installation. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, it is essential to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, thereby integrating the system for synchronized and precise control.
