3.3.1 Begin the installation by placing the compressor base integrally onto the foundation, meticulously positioning wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring even leveling and promptly spot weld them at 4 to 5 crucial points, creating a steadfast foundation.
Users should custom-manufacture these wedges to suit specific conditions, meticulously finishing contact surfaces for uniformity and strength.
Contact surfaces must be even, with wedge iron bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the exact leveling of the unit. Adhere to stringent leveling standards: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level accuracy of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring flawless alignment.
3.3.3 Ensure that the coupling is perfectly centered. Before initiating alignment, please confirm and adhere to the following meticulous steps:
1) Diligently switch off the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to facilitate easy access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to proceed with alignment;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, or any attachments that could hinder precision.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts for seamless adjustment without undue constraints;
6) Adequately prepare stainless steel gaskets to secure the motor footing. Gaskets should be pristine, flat, and free from unwanted materials, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for adjustment purposes.
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy margin of 0.01mm, which should be procured by the customer;
8) Have at the ready a bracket to support the dial indicator, referring to the provided illustration for guidance;
9) Deploy the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the outer rim of the compressor wheel hub,
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts carefully to align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the maximum outer circle deviation remains within 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center slightly elevated relative to the compressor's low-speed shaft. Coupling face deviation should be maintained between 0.03~0.05mm,
11) Firmly tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess both the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling to confirm impeccable precision;
12) Reattach the coupling intermediate section post verification of motor idle test results.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment have been meticulously adjusted, secure the anchor bolts. Post initial mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten bolts to ensure sustained integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, requires meticulous care to prevent irreversible damage from foreign solids or liquids. Ensure that the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean, meeting rigorous steam corrosion system standards. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate correction.Implement solid-liquid separation systems, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe to safeguard against potential contaminants.
3.3.6 Installing inlet and outlet pipes demands strict adherence to the PI diagram, with pipelines supported independently of the compressor body to prevent undue strain.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supporting equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has fully solidified, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything is seamlessly integrated and functioning at peak efficiency.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. To ensure optimal connectivity, the wiring from the compressor to the cabinet should be securely threaded through a conduit, strategically placed underground for protection. Once the control cabinet is perfectly positioned, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within it to the remote DCS lines, enabling smooth and reliable operation.
