3.3.1 Elegantly place the compressor base seamlessly on the foundation. Subtly position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
Artfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is leveled, delicately spot weld these irons at 4-5 strategic points for optimal stability.
The user should craft and install the wedge based on the specific conditions. Ensure the contact surface is superbly finished for even contact on inclined planes,
and remember, the wedge iron's bearing capacity should never exceed a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve impeccable leveling. The prerequisites for leveling are: axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure each measurement meets these high standards for flawless operation.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following:
1) Completely power off the main supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for easy access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is immaculate and free from impurities, debris, or foreign objects;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are oversized relative to the bolt. This facilitates easy adjustments by loosening the bolts;
6) Equip sufficient stainless steel gaskets that cover the motor's foot uniformly. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between motor and base;
7) Use a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a stunning accuracy of 0.01mm. Customers should prepare this before starting;
8) Prepare a bracket specifically designed to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator precisely on the hub's edge. Position a probe deftly on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Finely adjust bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. Max deviation for outer circle should be 0.05mm, and coupling end face should precisely be 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Once alignment is perfect, securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Re-evaluate the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for perfect precision.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, install the coupling intermediate section securely.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the 'levelness' and alignment, firmly fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, release and re-tighten them to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a precision high-speed rotating component, must remain free from solid or liquid intrusions to prevent irreversible damage. To ensure this, verify that all inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and meet the system’s steam corrosion grade. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification, and installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before straight pipes at the compressor inlet is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to correctly install all relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure each pipeline connected to the compressor is independently supported by separate brackets, without burdening the compressor body with their weight.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete, and the concrete has fully cured and solidified, you are ready to conduct the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures that the Oil-Film High-Speed Direct Drive Compressor is set to deliver exceptional performance and efficiency in your industrial operations.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality and convenience, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To maintain a neat and secure setup, the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet must pass through threaded pipes that run underground. Once the electric control cabinet is correctly situated, proceed to connect the wiring terminals inside it with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless communication and operation of your Oil-Film High-Speed Direct Drive Compressor.
