Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base is meticulously positioned on the foundation, employing wedge-shaped shims beneath to ensure precise leveling of the unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately and, after achieving optimal leveling of the unit, spot weld the irons at 4~5 strategic points. The wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user considering the actual situational demands, ensuring the contact surface is fully finished for even distribution on the inclined
plane. The wedge iron must bear a weight no greater than 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ precise leveling tools to verify accuracy. The unit's leveling requirements are an axial precision level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level precision of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Perfect coupling alignment is essential. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are fulfilled:
1) Deactivate the main power supply completely;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is flat and devoid of foreign substances;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size for easy adjustment;
6) Stock up on ample stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor foot, ensuring they are flat and free from contaminants, avoiding long slender gaskets for adjustment;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (to be supplied by the customer);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;

9) The motor hub mounting bracket is crucial for dial indicator placement on the hub edge, positioning its probe on the compressor hub's outer edge;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines, ensuring a maximum deviation of 0.05mm (motor shaft center should be slightly elevated above the compressor low-speed shaft center), with coupling end face deviation within 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly, then re-evaluate the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts to ensure precision.;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section after a successful motor idling test, confirming alignment.
3.3.4 Following the adjustments for levelness and casing alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. After initial or trial mechanical operations, loosen and retighten them to ensure total security.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds and must remain free of any solid or liquid ingress, which could cause irreversible harm. Ensure all connected inlet and outlet pipelines maintain cleanliness and adhere to system steam corrosion standards. Rectify any pipelines not meeting these conditions. It is suggested to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the inlet’s straight pipe to maintain integrity.

3.3.6 Connect compressor inlet and outlet pipes meticulously. Install all import and export pipeline accessories per the PI diagram. Support pipelines using separate brackets, ensuring no undue weight burden is placed on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached its full strength, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This critical step ensures everything is perfectly in place to deliver optimal performance.
3.3.8 For seamless operation, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor itself. Ensure the wiring, essential for effective connection, is expertly routed through a threading pipe placed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is set up, connect its wiring terminals with the lines leading to the remote DCS to ensure a smooth and efficient operational flow.
