3.3.1 Position the compressor base seamlessly onto the foundation, and strategically place wedge-shaped shims beneath it to fine-tune the unit's level.
Alternately position two wedge-shaped irons, achieve precise leveling of the unit, and spot weld the irons securely at 4~5 points.
The user should fabricate and install the wedges based on specific requirements, ensuring the contact surface is finely finished for uniform inclined plane contact.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit's perfect alignment: axially at 0.05/1000mm, and horizontally at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure coupling precision by centering. Prior to alignment, confirm these prerequisites:
1) Fully disconnect the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Check the motor's mounting plane for cleanliness, ensuring absence of debris or unwanted materials;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are appropriately larger than the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening and motor adjustments;
6) Secure an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to cushion the motor's foot. These gaskets must be clean and flat; avoid using elongated or slender gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment tool with 0.01mm precision (customer's responsibility);
8) Prepare a robust bracket for supporting the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's periphery, ensuring the probe contacts the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adjusting the motor foot's bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines as one (or follow specified guidelines), maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for the outer circle (motor shaft center line should be higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), with coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Once aligned, tighten the motor foot bolts and reevaluate the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for accuracy.;
12) Post motor idling test, reattach the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Subsequent to adjusting the casing's alignment and 'levelness', secure the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation (or trial runs), loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands that no solid or liquid infiltrates, as this could cause irreversible damage. Ensure that the pipelines attached to the compressor are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines not conforming must be upgraded. It's advised to install solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure the import and export pipelines are equipped with necessary accessories per the PI diagram. The pipeline connecting to the compressor must be supported independently, without burdening the compressor body with its weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supporting equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached complete solidity, the stage is set to commence the eagerly anticipated compressor operation test. This essential step ensures optimal performance and reliability, setting a new standard for industrial excellence.
3.3.8 It's crucial that the electric control cabinet of the compressor is strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To ensure seamless connectivity, the wiring must be securely linked through a threading pipe routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, it is vital to connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a robust and efficient operational setup.
