3.3.1 The compressor base is elegantly positioned atop the foundation, with precision-placed wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to perfectly adjust the unit's level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons for balanced leveling. Secure with spot welds at 4~5 strategic points, ensuring stability.
Each wedge is custom manufactured and expertly installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions, with meticulously finished contact surfaces to ensure seamless contact of the inclined plane.
The robust bearing capacity of each wedge iron is meticulously designed not to exceed a powerful 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to fine-tune the unit. Strict leveling standards ensure an impeccable axial level of 0.05/1000mm and an equally precise horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Perfect Coupling Alignment: Essential Pre-Alignment Checks:
1) Ensure absolute safety by powering off the main supply;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling for unfettered access;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free from any debris, dirt, or attachments that could compromise alignment;
5) Design the motor bolt holes generously larger than the bolts for effortless adjustment ease;
6) Stock an ample supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets. These gaskets should be perfectly flat and free from any attachments to ensure an even adjustment – steering clear of long, slender gaskets for insertion.
7) For precision alignment, use a dial indicator or a high-accuracy laser alignment meter (provided by the customer) with a resolution of 0.01mm;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach the dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor hub's outer edge;
10) By skillfully adjusting the bolts surrounding the motor feet, the compressor and motor centerlines are flawlessly aligned, maintaining an outer circle deviation of no more than 0.05mm, while the motor shaft center remains slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center. Coupling end face deviation is kept to a precise 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclusively, tighten the motor foot bolts with conviction, then recheck the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for assured precision.;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post a successful motor idling test to complete the process.
3.3.4 Upon achieving the optimal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, proceed to securely tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, the bolts should be loosened and retightened for double assurance.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed component, and even the smallest solid or liquid intrusion can inflict irreversible damage. It is imperative that the pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and meet the rigorous steam corrosion grade standards.Pipelines failing to meet these standards demand immediate rectification. Installing a solid-liquid separation device, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe is advised for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Seamless Connection of Compressor Inlet and Outlet Pipes: Install these pipelines meticulously, adhering to the PI diagram's specifications. Ensure all relevant pipeline accessories are in place. Crucially, the pipeline's weight must be independently supported and not burden the compressor body, reinforcing system integrity.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation is fully solidified, we are ready to proceed with the comprehensive operation test of the compressor. This critical phase ensures all components are functioning harmoniously, heralding the advent of seamless operational excellence.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically located within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To maintain a clean and uncluttered setup, the wiring connecting the compressor to its electric control cabinet should be expertly channeled through threading pipes concealed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, ensure seamless integration by connecting the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS. This step guarantees a flawless communication pathway, underpinning the sophisticated control capabilities of the system.
