3.3.1 The foundation is expertly prepared for the compressor base, with the whole unit carefully placed atop it. To achieve perfect levelness, position wedge-shaped shims under the base.
Alternate between two wedge-shaped irons meticulously. Level the unit, then secure the shims with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points.
These shims are customized by users based on specific requirements, ensuring a pristine contact surface for seamless alignment.
The wedge iron's inclined plane must sit perfectly flat, with a maximum load-bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Harness a precision level to attain the ideal alignment. The axial level precision demands a ratio of 0.05/1000mm, while maintaining a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Achieve unmatched precision in leveling to ensure optimal operation and longevity.
3.3.3 Ensure meticulous coupling alignment. Before proceeding, verify these essential prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power source;
2) Uninstall the protective coupling shield;
3) Extract the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for any contaminants, ensuring a spotless surface;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are ample, allowing for bolt adjustment to fine-tune motor positioning;
6) Procure stainless steel gaskets sufficient to fully cover the motor's base. They must be free of contaminants and flat. Avoid using elongated gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or high-precision laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (provided by the customer);
8) Ready the bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted below;
9) Affix the motor wheel hub bracket to house a dial indicator at the hub's edge, positioning its probe along the compressor hub's outer perimeter;
10) Adjust motor feet bolts to nearly align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure deviation does not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center, and coupling end face deviation limited to 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Finalize by securing motor foot bolts, and verify outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-alignment and tightening of the casing, anchor bolts require further attention after trial operation—loosen and retighten them to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller is the heart of the system, spinning at high velocities. Ensure no solid or liquid intrusions that could irreparably harm the compressor. Maintain pristine pipelines connecting to the compressor, meeting system steam corrosion standards, rectifying any deviation. Implement solid-liquid separation technology, like gas scrubbers, ahead of the compressor.Consider integrating gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the straight pipeline at the compressor's entrance for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Securely attach compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for pipeline accessory installation. Each pipeline must have its own support system, ensuring the compressor bears no undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, the compressor is ready for an operational test. 3.3.8 To ensure optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring, securely housed within protective threading pipes, should be expertly installed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, the wiring terminals inside must be seamlessly connected to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a flawless integration and operation.
