MVR, which stands for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a revolutionary energy-saving technology that dramatically minimizes the need for external energy by cleverly re-utilizing the secondary steam it produces. The fundamental concept revolves around the secondary steam generated by the evaporator. This steam is expertly compressed using our high-efficiency steam compressor, which transforms electrical energy into valuable thermal energy. As a result, the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam are elevated, enabling this revitalized steam to return to the evaporator. Here, it efficiently heats the materials, inducing further evaporation, thereby ingeniously recycling the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam.
The DML series steam compressors, renowned for their low temperature rise, are intricately designed and primarily constructed from a sophisticated compressor body, which includes the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, the system is harmoniously integrated with a coupling, motor, and a cutting-edge electric instrument, ensuring optimal performance.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To ensure optimum performance and longevity of your Efficient Low Temperature Rise Steam Compressor, place the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims under the base to adjust the unit level.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 points to secure them. The wedges should be
crafted by the user based on specific requirements, ensuring the contact surfaces are smooth for even pressure distribution.
The contact surfaces need to be perfectly aligned, with the bearing capacity not exceeding 40 Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Utilize a high-precision level to determine the exact horizontal and axial level. The ideal axial level deviation should remain within 0.05/1000mm,
while the horizontal level must not exceed 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Centering the coupling is paramount. Prior to commencing alignment, adhere to these crucial prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Safely remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly check the motor installation plane for any foreign substances, ensuring it's free from dirt and attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed bolt size. This allows bolts to loosen as needed for motor adjustments;
6) Secure ample stainless steel gaskets to uniformly cover the motor's base feet. Ensure these gaskets are flat and free of attachments. Avoid long and thin gaskets to prevent improper adjustments between motor and base;
7) For precise alignment, use a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which should be provided by the customer;
8) Ready the bracket necessary for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;

9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, thus positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer rim;
10) By adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to be nearly identical. The maximum allowable outer circle deviation is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center slightly above the compressor’s low-speed shaft. The coupling end face deviation should range between 0.03 to 0.05mm;

11) Once alignment is verified, firmly tighten the motor foot bolts. Double-check the coupling for outer circle and end face runout.
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 After ensuring perfect 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, secure the anchor bolts tightly. Post mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten them to guarantee steadfastness.
3.3.5 Since the impeller functions as a high-speed rotational component, any intrusion of solid or liquid substances can lead to irreversible compressor damage. It's imperative that both inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Any non-compliant pipelines should be rectified promptly. Incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Align import and export pipelines with relevant accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. Ensure that the pipeline's weight is independently supported by a separate bracket, so as not to burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supplementary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation achieves complete solidification, the next pivotal step is to initiate the compressor operation test. This ensures optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, a crucial component of the compressor system, should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor for optimal accessibility and efficiency. The electrical connectivity between the compressor and the control cabinet is achieved through wiring encased in a robust threading pipe, which is elegantly routed underground to ensure safety and aesthetics. After positioning the electric control cabinet, it's essential to harmoniously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) for seamless integration and control.
