The core principle of MVR revolves around the compression of secondary steam, which is initially generated by the evaporator. 3.3.1 To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Low Noise Low Temperature Rise Steam Compressor with Overall Base, begin by securely placing the compressor base on its foundation. Carefully position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling.
Strategically place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, perform spot welds on the irons at 4 to 5 points to lock them in place.
The wedges are to be crafted and mounted by the user based on specific site conditions, ensuring that the contact surfaces are evenly finished for consistent contact of inclined planes.
Ensure the bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve impeccable leveling by employing a precision level. Adhere to the following standards: the unit's axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be 0.10/1000mm.
Maintaining these standards ensures your compressor operates efficiently and reliably.
3.3.3 Alignment of the coupling is crucial before initiating operations. Ensure the following preliminary steps are completed:
1) Safely turn off the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Gently remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring no debris or foreign materials are present;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts for easy adjustments by loosening;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's foot. Gaskets must be clean and flat, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment tool with 0.01mm precision, provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a robust bracket for securing the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines, maintaining a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line remains above the compressor low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Following the motor's idle test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section for finalization.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's alignment and levelness, ensure all anchor bolts are firmly tightened. After the compressor undergoes mechanical or trial operations, loosen and retighten the bolts.
3.3.5 The impeller rotates at high speeds, making it vulnerable to damage from solid or liquid intrusion. Ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. For non-compliant pipelines, undertake necessary rectifications or introduce solid-liquid separation devices such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor's inlet straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all relevant pipeline accessories are installed as per the PI diagram, with the connected pipelines supported by a separate bracket. Avoid imposing any weight on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the impressive main fan and its essential ancillary equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete foundation has achieved complete solidification, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This critical step ensures optimal functionality and performance.
3.3.8 To ensure seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. For flawless operation, employ threading pipe to connect wiring from the compressor to the cabinet, making sure it is discreetly routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, proceed to meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring efficient and reliable communication.
