The fundamental principle revolves around the secondary steam produced by the evaporator, which is expertly compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process seamlessly converts electrical energy into thermal energy, causing an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. As a result, the elevated temperature of the secondary steam is redirected back to the evaporator, where it effectively heats the materials and induces evaporation, thereby achieving the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is a meticulously engineered piece of equipment, primarily comprising a robust compressor body, which includes essential components such as a volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seals. Additionally, it is equipped with a coupling, motor, and sophisticated electric instruments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.1 For a flawless setup, position the compressor's unified base gracefully on the foundation, ensuring a wedge-shaped shim provides the perfect level adjustment.
Place these shims alternatingly and, upon achieving level precision, secure them with spot welds of 4 to 5 points. Remember,
the wedge irons are to be tailored by the user for optimal fit, with a carefully finished contact surface ensuring smooth and even contact,
never surpassing a bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Elevate your precision by using a level to ascertain alignment. The unit demands exactitude: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, complemented by a horizontal
level accuracy of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve immaculate coupling alignment by adhering to these pivotal prerequisites:
1) Secure safety first by disconnecting the main power supply;
2) Dismantle the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the central segment of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Ensure the motor installation surface is impeccably clean and free of debris or residues;
5) Ensure that motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes, allowing for seamless motor adjustments;
6) Stock up on pristine stainless steel gaskets to stabilize the motor feet; avoid long, slender gaskets for insertion to maintain integrity;
7) Use precision tools like a dial indicator or laser alignment meter (0.01mm accuracy) to achieve flawless alignment;
8) Equip yourself with a bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub edge, ensuring accurate readings from the compressor wheel hub's outer perimeter;
10) By adjusting motor foot bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines, adhering to specific guidelines, maintaining a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, and coupling face precision of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) After ensuring alignment, secure the motor foot bolts, meticulously checking outer circle and end face runout for precision;;
12) Reassemble the coupling's intermediate section following the motor's trial run.
3.3.4 Post-alignment of the casing, secure the anchor bolts, and after operational testing, retighten for optimal stability.
3.3.5 Given the impeller's high-speed rotation, ensure all connected pipelines are pristine and compliant with steam corrosion grades to prevent irreversible damage. Utilize solid-liquid separation devices to enhance protection.
3.3.6 Install compressor pipes with precision, adhering to the PI diagram. Ensure connected pipelines are independently supported, safeguarding the compressor from additional weight stress.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all related ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidification, you can proceed to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything is in top condition, paving the way for seamless and efficient functionality.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor strategically within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For a neat and secure installation, ensure that the wiring is routed through threading pipes, taking care to position these pipes underground for protection. Once your electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines present at the remote DCS, ensuring robust and reliable communication.
