3.3.1 Begin by carefully positioning the compressor base integrally on the pre-prepared foundation. Place expertly crafted, wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve an impeccably level unit.
Ensure the wedge-shaped irons are alternated and properly leveled, then secure them by spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges should be
custom-manufactured and installed by the user to suit the unique environmental conditions. The contact surface must be finely finished to guarantee even contact,
ensuring the inclined plane's bearing capacity does not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit's perfect alignment. The axial level should be maintained at an impressive 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level demands a precise 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve superior coupling alignment. Prior to commencing alignment, adhere to the following meticulous preparations:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor installation plane for cleanliness, ensuring an absence of foreign objects, dirt, and attachments;
5) Verify that the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing for easy loosening to facilitate motor adjustments;
6) Gather a sufficient number of flawless stainless steel gaskets to support the motor feet, ensuring they are devoid of attachments and lie perfectly flat. Do not employ long or thin gaskets for insertion between motor and base;
7) Employ a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a remarkable accuracy of 0.01mm (provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a robust bracket to hold the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Affix the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring the probe is placed on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet meticulously, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and perform a thorough review of the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout;;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Upon achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical or trial operation, loosen and re-tighten these bolts to guarantee stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, is sensitive to solid or liquid intrusion, which could cause irreparable harm. Therefore, ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are pristine and compliant with system steam corrosion standards. Should any pipelines fall short, they must be promptly rectified. Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. All related pipeline accessories should be installed in accordance with the PI diagram. It is crucial that pipelines connected to the compressor are supported by an independent bracket, ensuring their weight does not burden the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete foundation has been allowed to fully solidify, you can proceed with conducting the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures optimum performance and reliability.
3.3.8 The sophisticated electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For seamless connectivity, threading pipes should be used to route the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, ensure the wiring terminals are meticulously connected with the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing a flawless operation.
