Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by carefully placing the compressor base onto the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims under the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Alternately arrange two wedge-shaped irons, and after the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. Remember, the wedge should be
custom manufactured and installed by the user to fit the actual conditions. Ensure that the contact surfaces are flawlessly finished to provide even contact
across the inclined plane. It is crucial that the wedge iron does not bear a load exceeding 40 Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a precise level instrument to verify the unit's levelness. Adhere to the leveling standards: the unit's axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the
horizontal level should remain at 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Centering the coupling is critical. Prior to alignment, ensure the following conditions are satisfied:
1) Disable the primary power supply to prevent any electrical hazards;
2) Detach the coupling shield for unobstructed access;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to prepare for alignment;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane rigorously, ensuring it is devoid of debris, dirt, or any unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolts, allowing for easy loosening and adjustment of the motor;
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet. These gaskets should be attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter (accuracy of 0.01mm), which should be procured by the customer;
8) Prepare a robust bracket to hold the dial indicator, as depicted in the corresponding diagram below;

9) Affix the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge. Position the indicator probe on the outer rim of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet until the compressor and motor center lines align. The permissible deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line situated slightly above the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Ensure the coupling end face deviation remains between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess the coupling for outer circle runout and end face runout to confirm alignment;;
12) Upon successful alignment, reinstall the coupling intermediate section, following a motor idle test to validate performance.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of both levelness and casing alignment, firmly fasten the anchor bolts. Upon completion of mechanical or trial operations, retighten these bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, is vulnerable to damage from any solid or liquid ingress. Therefore, it is imperative to maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines attached to the compressor, ensuring they meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Any pipelines failing to comply must be rectified. It is highly
recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe leading into the compressor.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to attach all relevant pipeline accessories. The pipelines connected to the compressor must be supported independently by another bracket, as the compressor body should not bear their weight.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan along with its ancillary equipment is successfully completed and the concrete has been given ample time to solidify completely, it is time to embark on the exciting phase of testing the compressor's operation. This crucial step ensures that all components are functioning harmoniously.
3.3.8 To ensure optimal performance and ease of access, the compressor’s electric control cabinet should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. The electrical connections from the compressor to this control cabinet must be meticulously organized using threading pipe that is routed underground, ensuring both safety and efficiency. Once the electric control cabinet has been securely positioned, it's essential to connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote DCS, completing the setup for seamless control.
