The DM series Single-stage geard steam compressor represents a pinnacle of engineering excellence, comprising a sophisticated ensemble of components: the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and a state-of-the-art anti-surge control system. This remarkable machine boasts a compact structure, ensuring it is not only space-efficient but also remarkably easy to maintain. 3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base as a unified whole onto its foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to delicately adjust the unit to a perfect level.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons, and after achieving a flawless level, elegantly spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. Keep in mind that the precise creation and installation of the wedges should be tailored by the user, reflecting the unique circumstances at hand.
The contact surface of these wedges should be impeccably finished to ensure seamless interaction, guaranteeing that the inclined planes meet evenly and effortlessly.
Each wedge iron must boast a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve precise levelness using a level tool. The unit should satisfy the following elite leveling standards: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
These meticulous leveling requirements ensure unparalleled stability and performance.
3.3.3 The art of centering the coupling begins with meeting these essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure safety by switching off the main power supply;
2) Gently remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Confirm the motor installation surface is pristine, free from debris, and perfectly smooth;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for smooth adjustments;
6) Secure a bounty of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet. These gaskets must be immaculate, devoid of impurities, and maintain an ideal flatness.
7) Employ a precise dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be prepared by the customer);
8) Equip yourself with a bracket to support the dial indicator effectively, as illustrated below;
9) Attach a dial indicator to the motor wheel hub mount, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for meticulous readings;
10) By subtly adjusting the motor feet adjustment bolts, align the compressor and motor centerlines with precision. The outer circle's maximum deviation should be a mere 0.05mm.
11) After this delicate procedure, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and review the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts to ensure perfection.;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post alignment and 'levelness' adjustments, firmly secure the anchor bolts. After the machine's initial or trial run, loosen the bolts and re-tighten to guarantee enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must be safeguarded against solids or liquids that could cause irreversible harm. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to stringent steam corrosion standards. Those falling short must be immediately rectified.For optimal protection, consider incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 With finesse, install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Adorn these pipelines with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. They should be supported independently to prevent undue weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its auxiliary components is complete, and the concrete foundation has fully cured, you are clear to initiate the compressor operation test. This stage is crucial as it ensures seamless performance and reliability of your setup, paving the way for exceptional efficiency in your drying processes.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and safety, install the electric control cabinet within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Achieve a neat and secure connection by threading the wiring through underground pipes. Once the cabinet is securely positioned, ensure all wiring terminals are meticulously connected to the remote DCS, establishing a robust and reliable communication line essential for smooth operations.
