The fundamental principle at play is one of remarkable simplicity yet profound efficiency: the secondary steam emanating from the evaporator is artfully compressed using a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This sophisticated process adeptly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Furthermore, this newly enhanced secondary steam is elegantly redirected back to the evaporator, where it serves to heat the materials and catalyze evaporation. Through this exquisite cycle, the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam is recycled, culminating in an impressive display of operational efficiency and sustainability.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprised of several key components including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, a sophisticated lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This compressor boasts a compact and efficient design, making it exceptionally easy to maintain, thereby ensuring long-term reliability and effectiveness.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base securely on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure the unit is perfectly level.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately for optimal support. Once the unit is leveled, spot weld these wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. Remember,
these wedges should be crafted and installed according to your unique situation. Ensure the contact surface is meticulously finished for smooth,
even contact along the inclined plane. Note: the bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40kg/cm,2.)
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve the required accuracy. The unit's axial level must meet the stringent requirement of 0.05/1000mm,
while its horizontal level should be 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect alignment of the coupling by following these essential steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely switched off;
2) Carefully remove the protective shield over the coupling;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane to ensure it's free from foreign materials, dust, and debris;
5) Verify that the motor bolt holes are adequately sized to allow bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to provide sturdy support under the motor feet. These should be free of debris and perfectly flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets that might compromise the adjustment between the motor and base;
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with accuracy up to 0.01mm, as per customer preparation;
8) Set up a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the surrounding motor feet bolts meticulously, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Maintain the coupling end face deviation within 0.03 to 0.05mm;
11) Firmly tighten the motor foot bolts and ensure a thorough review of both outer circle and end face runout of the coupling,;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling's intermediate section post-motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, securely tighten all anchor bolts. After any mechanical or trial operation, briefly loosen and retighten these bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds, and any solid or liquid intrusion can cause severe, irreversible damage to the compressor. Thus, it's critical to ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are impeccably clean and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines not meeting these criteria must be promptly rectified. It is stronglyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, just before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Install all relevant pipeline accessories following the PI diagram's guidance. Ensure that pipelines connected to the compressor are independently supported by a separate bracket, ensuring that their weight does not burden the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment are expertly installed and the concrete has reached its final solidification, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that every component is performing in harmony, ready to deliver peak efficiency.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically situated within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The meticulous wiring process involves threading pipe connections that extend underground, seamlessly linking the compressor to the control cabinet. Once the cabinet is precisely positioned, ensure that the wiring terminals within are expertly connected to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing impeccable communication and control.
