MVR, standing for mechanical vapor recompression, represents a cutting-edge, energy-conserving technology designed to significantly curtail the need for external energy sources by ingeniously repurposing secondary steam energy that it produces. At its core, this innovative process involves the secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, being meticulously compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This transformation converts electrical energy into thermal energy, thus elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The increased temperature and pressure enable the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and sparking further evaporation. This sophisticated method achieves an elegant recycling of the latent heat of vaporization present in the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is an engineering marvel composed of several integral components: the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, making it not only efficient but also extraordinarily easy to maintain. Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base should be integrally positioned on the foundation with wedge-shaped shims placed beneath it to ensure perfect leveling. This strategic placement is essential for balanced performance.
Position the wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is leveled precisely, spot weld the wedges securely at 4 to 5 points for stability and durability.
These wedges must be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific situation. The contact surface should be polished meticulously to guarantee even contact across the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must remain under a stringent limit of 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain precision leveling. The unit's axial level must be maintained at a precise 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be 0.10/1000mm to ensure operational excellence.
Continue to adhere to these exacting standards to avoid any discrepancies.

3.3.3 The coupling must be perfectly centered. Prior to alignment, confirm the following critical prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely shut off for safety.
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield to access the components.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision.
4) Inspect the motor installation plane meticulously to ensure it's free from debris, dirt, and unnecessary attachments.
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed the bolt size to allow for easy adjustment and optimal alignment.
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's footing. Ensure these are attachment-free and flat for optimal placement. Avoid using elongated gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base.
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which should be prepared by the customer.
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket as depicted in the figure below to support the dial indicator.

9) Attach the motor hub mounting bracket to accommodate a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge. Position the indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub for accuracy.
10) By meticulously adjusting the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the maximum deviation of the outer circle is limited to 0.05mm. The motor shaft's center line should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviation kept within 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Secure the motor foot bolts tightly, then evaluate the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling to confirm precision.;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section seamlessly.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of casing levelness and alignment, secure the anchor bolts firmly. After a mechanical or trial run, recheck and retighten all bolts for maintained stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed, critical rotating component. Any foreign solid or liquid entering it can cause irreversible damage. It's vital to ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are impeccably clean, adhering to the requisite steam corrosion grades.
For enhanced protection, it is advised to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for proper pipeline accessory integration. Ensure the connected pipeline is supported by an independent bracket to prevent any undue strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary components are meticulously installed and the concrete base has achieved complete solidification, it's time to embark on the compressor's operational testing phase. This pivotal step ensures optimal functionality and reliability before full-scale deployment.
3.3.8 Position the compressor's sophisticated electric control cabinet within a strategic 5-meter proximity to the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to this control hub should be expertly established using threading pipe, cleverly routed underground for maximum safety and efficiency. Upon securing the control cabinet, seamlessly integrate the wiring terminals with the lines at the distant DCS to ensure seamless, uninterrupted operation.
