Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base should be meticulously positioned on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4~5 strategic points. The user should manufacture and install the wedges based on the actual installation conditions.
Ensure the contact surfaces are finely finished for even contact on inclined planes. The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2

3.3.2 Employ a high-precision level to ascertain the unit's alignment. The stringent leveling requirements are as follows: axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieve perfect alignment of the coupling by following these critical prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for unobstructed access.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for proper alignment.
4) Verify the flatness of the motor installation plane and ensure it's free from debris and dirt.
5) The motor bolt holes should be slightly larger than the bolts to facilitate easy adjustment of the motor by loosening the bolts.
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to securely support the motor's base, ensuring they are clean, flat, and free from attachments. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm for precise measurement. This equipment should be supplied by the customer.
8) Set up a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below for reliable measurements.

9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach the dial indicator to the wheel hub's edge. Ensure the probe is positioned on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub.
10) By skillfully adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the motor and compressor center lines accurately. The outer circle's maximum deviation should be 0.05mm, and the coupling end face deviation should be 0.03~0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line.

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts upon completion, and thoroughly review the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section after conducting a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 After fine-tuning the casing's level and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure optimal performance.

3.3.5 The impeller spins at high speeds, thus caution is paramount to prevent any solid or liquid ingress that may cause irreversible damage. Ensure all compressor inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Rectify any pipelines that fail to meet these standards. Installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor's inlet straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Trust in the seamless installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for apposite pipeline accessories. Ensure the compressor's support structure is independent, avoiding the weight being borne by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its accompanying equipment is installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, you're ready to embark on the exhilarating compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal performance and reliability of the system, setting the stage for smooth and efficient operations.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. Secure the connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet using threading pipes, which should be discreetly routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, expertly link the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless integration and control.
