3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation. Place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to perfectly adjust and level the unit.
Alternate the placement of wedge-shaped irons. After achieving perfect leveling, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 points ensuring stability.
The user should manufacture and install the wedge based on real-world conditions, ensuring the contact surface is precisely finished for smooth contact.
The inclined plane should evenly contact, ensuring the wedge iron's bearing capacity does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to achieve precision leveling. The unit's axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, with a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
The horizontal level of the unit must meet the standard of 0.10/1000mm to ensure optimal performance.
3.3.3 Ensure perfect alignment by centering the coupling. Prior to alignment, verify these crucial steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to prevent any obstruction;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for accurate alignment;
4) Confirm the motor installation plane is flat and free from any debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are larger than the bolt size, allowing easy bolt loosening for motor adjustment;
6) Have a sufficient number of flat and debris-free stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's foot perfectly. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (customer-supplied);
8) Prepare the necessary bracket for dial indicator support, as shown in the illustration below;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement on the wheel hub edge, ensuring accurate measurement.
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet meticulously to align the compressor and motor centerline. Maximum deviation should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft.
11) Once perfect alignment is achieved, tighten the motor foot bolts securely and review the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for precision.;
12) Install the coupling intermediate section post motor idle test to complete the process.
3.3.4 After ensuring 'levelness' and proper alignment of the casing, securely tighten anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, retighten the bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds, and any foreign solid or liquid can cause irreparable damage. Ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are clean and meet the steam corrosion grade standards of the system. If not, they must be corrected. Installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe is recommended.
3.3.6 Accurately install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for installing all pertinent pipeline accessories. Ensure that the pipeline connected to the compressor is independently supported by a separate bracket to avoid placing any weight on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete has fully solidified, you can proceed with conducting the compressor operation test. This ensures all components are securely in place and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. To ensure seamless connectivity, the wiring from the compressor to the cabinet should be neatly installed using threading pipes that run underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, proceed to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring efficient communication and control.
