Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by seamlessly placing the compressor base on the foundation. To achieve perfect leveling of the unit, insert wedge-shaped shims strategically underneath the base. Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is precisely leveled, secure the stability by spot welding these irons at 4-5 points. Note that the fabrication and installation of wedges should align with the specific conditions of your setup. Ensure that the contact surfaces are finely finished for optimal contact and that the wedge iron's load capacity does not exceed 40 Kg/cm.

3.3.3 Centering the coupling is crucial. Before embarking on alignment, please verify the following prerequisites:
1) Ensure the primary power supply is completely switched off;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield to access the necessary components;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, confirming the absence of any foreign particles, grime, or unwanted materials;
5) The motor bolt holes should be adequately larger than the bolts themselves to facilitate loosened adjustments to fine-tune the motor position;
6) Have a sufficient supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to cover the motor's feet. Ensure these gaskets are devoid of any debris, are flat, and avoid using extended, slender gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter boasting a remarkable accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare the necessary bracket as illustrated below to support the dial indicator effectively;

9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the dial indicator probe against the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum allowable outer circle deviation is 0.05mm (ensuring the motor shaft center is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center), and the coupling end face should be within 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, reassessing the coupling for any outer circle runout and end face runout;;
12) Upon a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post alignment adjustment, secure the casing's levelness, and firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical or trial run, retighten them to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotational element, is sensitive to intrusions of solids or liquids, which can inflict irreversible damage to the compressor. Thus, it is imperative to maintain cleanliness in the pipelines interfacing with the compressor, meeting the steam corrosion standards of the system. Rectify any pipelines failing to meet these criteria. It is advisable to integrate solid-liquid separation apparatus, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.

3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure compliance with the PI diagram for all relevant pipeline accessories. The pipeline affixed to the compressor must be supported independently by an additional bracket, ensuring that its weight is not borne by the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying ancillary equipment are securely installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything functions flawlessly, setting the stage for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. It is essential to use threading pipe to connect the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet, ensuring that it is routed underground for safety and efficiency. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, meticulously connect the wiring terminals inside with the lines at the remote DCS, completing the sophisticated network for superior operational control.
