Product Description

MVR, also known as Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is an innovative and energy-efficient technology designed to drastically cut down the reliance on external energy. This is achieved by smartly reusing the secondary steam energy that it self-generates. At its core, the technology operates on the principle that the secondary steam produced by the evaporator is re-compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process ingeniously transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The newly elevated temperature of the secondary steam is then redirected back to the evaporator. This efficient cycle not only heats the materials but also prompts further evaporation, thereby enabling the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is a sophisticated assembly, primarily consisting of several critical components: the main compressor body, which includes the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, seal, and more. Additionally, it is equipped with a coupling, motor, and an advanced electric instrument system, all working in harmony to deliver exceptional performance and reliability.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base should be meticulously positioned on the foundation. Place wedge-shaped shims under the base to precisely adjust the unit's level.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure these irons with spot welds at four to five points.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user based on actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished for even contact.
The wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Use a precise level to ascertain accuracy. The unit's axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while its horizontal level should achieve 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Confirm these prerequisites before initiating alignment:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off.
2) Detach the coupling shield safely.
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring no debris, dirt, or attachments are present.
5) Make sure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolt sizes, allowing for easy adjustments.
6) Prepare ample flat stainless steel gaskets to support the motor. Avoid using long, thin gaskets that could compromise adjustments.
7) Use a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter (0.01mm accuracy) provided by the customer.
8) Arrange a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below.

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator appropriately, ensuring the probe touches the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Carefully adjust the motor feet with adjustment bolts, aligning the compressor and motor center line. Maintain a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly higher.

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Reassess the runout of the outer circle and coupling end face to ensure precision.;
12) Post motor idling tests, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section with accuracy.
3.3.4 After fine-tuning the casing's levelness and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation, retighten them to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The high-speed impeller is sensitive. Protect it by ensuring no solid or liquid enters. Maintain pipeline cleanliness, adhering to steam corrosion standards. Add separation equipment if needed.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes diligently. Accessories should match the PI diagram. Ensure pipelines are independently supported, not relying on the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supplementary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation is fully solidified, you can initiate the compressor operation test. This step is crucial to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For enhanced safety and efficiency, the wiring connecting the compressor to this cabinet must be securely housed within threading pipes running underground. Once the cabinet is firmly in place, the wiring terminals must be seamlessly connected to the lines at the distant DCS, ensuring a robust and reliable communication channel.
